Ariel

I sit up and rub my eyes. It's bright as fuck in here. I smell food and smile. We've been home for a few weeks now and haven't done much of anything except decorate the house.

I shower and do my bathroom routine before throwing on a pair of Black Nike sweats, a white tee, and my Bluey house shoes.

I walk downstairs and see Mia in the kitchen cooking. "Good Morning" She says looking at me. She looks at my house shoes and laughs. "Those are cute" She adds.

I smile. "Thank you" I say walking over and standing beside her. "What all you making?" I ask.

"Eggs, Bacon, Pancakes, Biscuits, and hashbrowns, I didn't check to see if I had any grits tho" She says. "Jess and Ty are on their way, that cool?" She asks looking at me.

I nod. "Yeah, ion mind, you put the sheets in the dryer?" I ask.

She shakes her head. "No, I forgot" She says. "I'll do-"

I cut her off. "I got it" I say laughing. "I just wanted to check before I walked in there for none" I add.

I go to the laundry room and put the sheets in the dryer. I throw the comforter to match in the washing machine and get it started.

I walk into the living room and turn on the tv. "Ariel don't cut that game on" Mia yells.

I turn on Netflix and go to The Parker's. "My game upstairs anyway" I say. "Bossy"

The doorbell rings and I get up. I look out the window and see A.J with Leah on his back. I open the door and they walk in. "Hey sissy" She says hopping off and walking over to me.

I pick her up and walk in the kitchen. "Hey boo" Mia says. "You hungry?" She asks looking at Leah.

Leah nods and I sit her on the island. "I wanna stay the night" Leah says looking at me.

I look at Mia. "That's cool with me, is her room finished?" She asks smiling.

Leah looks at me. "I got my own room?" She asks smiling wide.

"Yeah, I'll show you once you finish eating" I say sitting her at the island.

She starts playing on her phone so I walk over to Mia. "You got like 10 minutes when you finish cooking?" I ask glancing at her ass then back at her.

She looks at me funny. "10 minutes for what?" She asks cutting the eyes on stove down to low. "Cause don't shit you want take 10 minutes" She says.

She grabs plates and everything while I grab the silverware. "I just wanted to talk to you" I say and she laughs. "What?" I ask.

"Food's ready y'all" She says before looking at me. "You tryna fuck and you not slick" She says low. "I'm bout to make your plate tho, what you want to drink?" She asks.

"Orange juice" I say sitting beside Leah.

Tyson and Jessica walk into the kitchen. "Auntie, will you make my plate?" He asks climbing in the chair beside me. Mia and Jess's parents meant it when they said we had a couple of weeks and they were sending Jessica over here.

We already planned on Ty being over here in general so we made sure we got him and Leah their own rooms.

It's been a slight adjustment but I'm tryna work with it.

After everyone gets their food, I go sit in the living room with A.J. "You got a nice ass view back here" He says looking out the windows.

"Thank you" I say turning on Lucifer. I could watch this all day. "I think I want a dog or two" I add sitting on the floor.
