Tamia
Me and the girls are at Ariel's parents house cause Charisma's folks are coming over and she doesn't wanna be around them by herself.
I grab a spoon from the drawer and throw the lid to my ice cream away. "Can I be an uncle?" Ryker asks.
I shrug. "I don't care but Ariel is very picky about folks already so don't say I ain't warn you" I say laughing.
We walk in the living room and Charisma is feeding Amoura while talking to Amari. "Your mom called and said she on the way along with my mama to discuss the gender reveals, she gone make my brain hurt" Amari says looking up at me.
I sit beside her and lean back. "My back hurts" I mumble eating my ice cream. "When your parents coming?" I ask looking at Charisma.
She rolls her eyes. "They're on the way with my sister" She says.
"Tell that hoe don't try me please" I say making a face. "I'm not in the mood"
She smiles. "She's not, I been gave her the run down" She says. "Ooh I can't wait for my baby to have playmates" she adds.
The doorbell rings and soon my parents, Ty, Amari's mom and sister walk in. "Hi mommy" I say hugging my mom as she sits beside me. "Hey my baby" I add hugging Ty next. "Hey dad" I say giving him an air hug.
My mom immediately starts rubbing my stomach. "How's my baby?" She asks.
"Fine, although not too big of a fan of hot chips" I say rolling my eyes. "So what was it y'all wanted to talk about?" I ask.
Arya sits on the other side of me between Amari and I. "Did yall wanna do it together or separately?" She asks.
"Together" Amari and I answer at the same time.
"Okay, same theme or different?" She asks next.
"Different but can I send you ideas so y'all can surprise me?" I ask. "Amari got some too" I add.
She nods. "Yes, you plan on wearing a dress?" She asks.
I shrug. "I don't know" I answer. "I might" I add. "When you planning it for?" I ask.
"Now, just wanted to make sure everything was good" She says. "Gotta order the rest of the decorations and whatnot" She adds.
About a hour into all of us talking and chilling, the front door opens but this time it's Charisma's parents.
Charisma hops up and gently but fast way upstairs. "She said if they ask, Amoura's sleep" A.J says laughing. "I told it's okay but she's not feeling it" He says.
I get up and grab my trash to throw away. "I'm gonna go check on her" I say.
"Enjoy being able to do that by yourself while you can" Geo says snickering.
I mean mug her. "Girl fuck you" I say walking towards the kitchen. I throw my trash away and walk upstairs to the nursery.
I walk in and see her on her phone while Amoura's in her swing. I gently close the door and sit in the rocking chair. "I can't do it yet" Charisma says putting her phone down and looking at me.
"What's wrong?" I ask.
She sighs. "My parents are just so judgmental of everything I do and it's irritating, they said some bout me moving out here with you, had so much to say about A.J for whatever reason, and if they some bout my baby ima snap" She says. "His parents have been nothing but nice and helpful and considerate and my parents are the opposite" She adds.
I nod in agreement. "Parents definitely cool as hell" I say slowly rocking back and forth. "You like this mom shit?" I ask. "I'm scared, even more so now that I know I'm having twins" I add.
