Ariel

It's been two days since my parents have been gone and we just found out Mia's parents are going on a trip so we have Ty now too.

Jessica is back MIA but I can't deal with her right now. I got the car back that I got for her and have it sitting in my garage. 

Mia made some changes to her online store and added some more products and they've been selling like crazy so the post office has been a daily thing.

I got some new stuff in at the store and that's been selling fast also. Leah has cheer, I put Ty in a summer league for basketball, and the twins normally chill with Mia and I while we handle our business.

We've been busy but we usually make up for it at night when we get everyone to bed. We either watch a movie or tv show and relax, or we just listen to music and talk.

I just dropped Leah and Ty off, so now I'm heading home to relax cause A.J took the twins for the day.

My phone rings and I check the caller ID and see Khyree's name. I answer it and put my phone down. "Wassup"

"Aye, so I been talking with that George lawyer dude and he said he might have some luck getting Aaron out early" He says referring to Amari's dad.

I gave him George's info and left it to him. I turn onto my street. "That's good, what's he talking bout?" I ask.

"He said give him a couple of weeks but that meant Aaron would have to stay off the phones and shit till he can get everything situated, I know it's gone hurt Mari but if this means he can get out early then it's a risk I'm willing to take" He says.

I nod. "True, I think it'll go the way you want it, especially if it's some bullshit in charges, just think positive and if you need help with anything let me know" I say stopping at the mailbox.

"Thanks and we'll be over later, Mia's making us do a potluck" He says. "I'm bringing the liquor, Amari's making wings" He adds.

I furrow my eyebrows as I reach out and open the mailbox. Ain't shit in here. "Huh?" I ask. Mia ain't told me shit.

It gets quiet. "Oh, maybe I wasn't supposed to say none cause she wanted to talk to you first, my fault g" He says hanging up.

I shake my head and roll my window up. I pull up to the house, put the code in and pull up to the front.

I walk in the house and hear Jhene Aiko blasting.  I walk further into the living room and see Mia in the kitchen cooking.

I sneak up behind her and sit on the island. "What you making?" I ask.

She jumps and turns around. "Ariel what the fuck?" She yells.

I try not to laugh. "My bad baby" I say jumping down and hugging her.

She rolls her eyes. "You scared me" She mumbles hugging me back. "And I'm making me and Mari a seafood boil" She adds grabbing the remote and muting the tv.

I lean against the counter while she continues seasoning everything. "So, Khy called about some shit and told me about some lil get together we're supposed to be having which you ain't said none about" I add looking at her.

She looks at me and smiles a bit. "I was gonna mention it...after you got home and relaxed" She says. "And after we fucked" She adds smiling.

I laugh and grab a piece of sausage she had cooked. "Freaked out" I say kissing her cheek. "Ion mind, I just gotta clean the house and get the kids straight" I add. "Leah and Ty get out at the same time, so we got about 6 hours of being kid free"
