"So she wants a hotel party?" Ma asks handing me the milk.

"Yeah at the Ritz Carlton" I say pouring my Fruit Loops in my bowl. I add the milk and grab a spoon from the silverware drawer.

"Who's she inviting?" She asks.

"All the girls in the family" I answer. "And Bri...she said me and Mila couldn't come" I say.

"Why don't you just spend the day with her then when it's time for the party you, Mila, and your brothers go out somewhere?" Ma suggest.

"Ooh good idea" I say. "Or I could get a room for us next to them" I add.

"Then you could all come back and get a ass whooping" She says smiling.

"You always talking about whooping somebody" I mumble.

"Cause y'all like to misbehave, A.J. Just got one the other day for talking back" She says. Her phone beeps and she looks at it. "And depending on this situation Leah might be getting one, come on"

I finish my cereal, grab my phone and follow after her. We get in her Black Audi i8 and she speeds off.

"Ma, why you gotta drive so fast?" I ask sitting up in my seat.

"I don't drive fast" She says. I just sit back and pull my phone out. I text Haven to see where she is and watch as my mom speeds through the roads.

We finally pull in front of a small Grey and Light Blue house. We get out, and head up the driveway and onto the porch.

Ma knocks and few seconds later a woman opens the door looking mad. She opens it and we walk in.

She leads us to the living room and we sit down. Leah soon comes from upstairs with a red tear stained face. She has a few minor scratches on her neck but other than that she looks normal.

"So what happened?" Ma asks.

"Your daughter hit my daughter in face cause she was irritating her" The woman says. Leah looks at ma meaning she wants to speak.

"Leah, what happened?" Ma asks her.

"Hailey kept trying to get me to play with some ouija board and I told her no, then she came at me crazy so I punched her in the face" Leah says. "I told her no over and over in a calm matter but she got loud so she got hit then her mom yelled at me and told me I need home training"

I hold in my laughter and ma looks at the woman. 

"I'm trying to wrap my head around why the fuck your daughter got a damn ouija board and she only 7" Ma says. The lady starts to speak but ma stops her. "Keep your weird ass daughter away from mine"

"Leah where's your stuff?" I ask.

"By the door" She says getting up. Ma gets up so I follow behind her. We get in the car and start to wherever.

"I gotta stop by Ayla's house cause she made the cake Haven picked out" Ma says.

"Mama, am I invited to Haven's party?" Leah asks.

"Leah didn't you already ask me that?" Ma asks.

"Yeah but I forgot what you said" She says.

"I said your dad is taking you to some concert, along with your uncles" Ma says making me look at her.

"What concert?" I ask.

"Either Beyoncé or Rihanna, I wasn't listening because he kept getting off subject" Ma says.
