When Andi was born she was immediately put up for adoption, getting to the adoption agency at one day old. No one really knows exactly why, mainly because the mother signed a confidentiality agreement, but there are suspects it was because either her mother was only a teenager, there was some sort of marriage scandal, or something like that.
Either way, she was adopted at two weeks old but the parents soon returned her when they were able to conceive a child that 'was actually theirs.'
Of course, Andi didn't remember this as they were only a few weeks old so it didn't matter. Eventually though, the same pattern kept repeating. Adoption, then returning.
"It just wasn't a good fit."
And every year, Andi got older and older, they eventually had to leave the adoption center cause they were just too old. They weren't going to get adopted and they knew it.
One family adopted her however right before they were going to leave. They seemed promising enough, until everything went bad... Denying their gender identity, allowing their other 'real' children to make fun of them, and basically beating them into being a respectable housewife like it was the 1800s. They were abused mentally and physically until they ran away, not really knowing where they were going.
They didn't really want to meet their birth parents, but they had no other place to go so they decided to give it a shot. Research suggested that both parents were dead, however. But, further research showed that there was a house that belonged to her mother's sibling (the Carmine Manor). Interested, they decided to pay a visit. Ask some questions maybe. Just pure bad luck they came when they did...
