Backstory: Again, kinda wanna make this up as I go, but I know its something along the lines off: their parents lied to them for years about something and so did pretty much everyone in their life (hence the trust issues) so once they found out they left. Only one person didn't lie to them (or so they thought) and helped them along the way, but Jax found out that they had been in fact lying too, so now it is extremely rare for them to trust anyone and if they do, they'll protect them with their life.
