Hello my lovelies!
I am so thankful that you have taken your time to read my book! It's actually wild to me to think about that each and every one of you liked (or at least tolerated) it enough to read all the way to the end.
I do want to apologize to you all for the tragic ending. I want you all to know that I love Evelyn with all my heart, but it was always my plan from the very beginning that she would die. I actually started the book with writing her death chapter. I know it's not what all of you would have wanted, but this is ultimately a Tom Riddle fan-fiction (even though I know a lot of you said you weren't staying for him). With every comment I saw about wanting them to live happily ever after I did stop and think maybe?, but I knew it wasn't the villain origin story that Tom needed. I am sorry, but as Tom said 'it was the only way.'
Originally I had promised that I would be writing an alternative ending to this book, but as I rewrote it a second time I realized that I couldn't. It just ultimately needs to end where it does. But, I will not let you all suffer. On my Patreon, I will occasionally be posting bonus content for this book along with other writing endeavors. And with staying in the most legal bounds I can, possibly offering ways to obtain a physical copy of this fanfiction. I will be restraining my self from majorly editing this book in any way from here on out, but will also try to make this book as perfect as can be without completely deleting it from wattpad again.
