"Brother, I have a visitor for you" Poseidon called as we reached the grand hall "I am busy" Zeus said It had been a year since I saw Zeus We only ever caught glimpses of him at the grand balls they held
Where he would float around, smiling and charming goddess' as Hera stood angrily in a corner "I think you shall be interested in what she has to say" Poseidon smiled
I stood patiently, before he turned around, his face falling into recognition He knew of me He knew my siblings too "Macaria" he acknowledged
"Zeus" I bowed my head "To what do I owe such an abrupt visit?" He asked Poseidon sat down at the table, seemingly also interested in what I had to say "I wish for your intervention" I said
"About?" I hesitated, shifting to sit down as they were both staring at me "About my relationship with Thanatos" I said Zeus laughed
"Relationship? You are sleeping with the god of death?" He asked "I am in love with the god of death" I corrected "And you come to me" he pointed out
"My father has forbid it, as well as locked Than... Thanatos away" I said clearly "Sounds like our brother" Poseidon chuckled Zeus finally seated himself, in his grand chair opposite me
"So what are you desiring me to do about it?" He asked "I wish for your blessing. So that he may release him and we can court officially, properly" I said
"You wish to marry him?" He asked intrigued "I do" I nodded "And he returns your affection?" Poseidon asked "He does" I said "Of course he does, a beautiful young lady like yourself" Zeus smiled
I shifted once more in my seat, uncomfortable under his stare "You know, your father caused me a lot of chaos when he pursued your mother" Zeus said
"I am aware" I nodded, mother had told us all about their romance And how much our grandmother hated father for it "He did not listen to rules, nor did he listen to me. He did whatever it took to get your mother to marry him" he explained
"And I ask the same from you" I said "Macaria dear, there is not a lot of talking to our brother, he is a man who is set in his decisions" Poseidon said
"So you shall not help me?" I asked "It is fruitless to try and reason with Hades" Zeus shrugged "Forgive me my lord, but are you not the God of the sky, of thunder? I thought you reigned all" I asked
