"Lani please, talk to me. Anything. Shout at me, hit me. Anything" Tommy pleads with the woman.

She was bombing around the room packing her bags, not saying anything. She hadn't said anything since the phone call. She ignored everyone in the room even though they were all trying to reach out to her.

He betrayed her. He told them. He told them her biggest secret. He completely ignored her and what she had to say. He was treating her like a naive child who couldn't look after herself. Naive.

She let him in. She told him her biggest secret. That was her big mistake. She told herself that she would never trust a man again. But she did. She was naive. Everyone was right.

Rhodri, Isaac, Ada, everyone was right. And she was just fucking stupid. She should have learned. God she was so stupid.

She wouldn't say another word to him. Both until the urge to either cry or kill him had gone. She wasn't sure which one was more powerful at that moment.

"Lani. I'm sorry, I didn't know that he would come here. I would never put you in harms way on purpose. Please, believe me" he pleads. Desperate for her to listen. To speak to him. To stay by his side.

She almost laughed at this. He thought she was angry because he was here? Not that he had gone completely against her word to not contact him. He had to learn that he didn't control everything and everyone in the world. The world doesn't revolve around Thomas fucking Shelby. What he did effected people.

"I love you" he shouts, still attempting to get through to her. In fact, this did. She stops in her tracks, still facing away from him.

No he doesn't. This wasn't love. Someone that loved her wouldn't do this. Wouldn't go behind her back and cause her this much pain.

Remembering this she continues to pack her final items of clothes. Then she walks beside Tommy and goes straight through the door. He obviously wasn't prepared for this as he quickly turns around and follows her out, practically running down the stairs to catch up with her.

The sight before Lani consisted of Rhodri concious on the chair with Arthur standing over him with a bloodied knife and an angry expression on his face. Angry wasn't the right word.
He was seething with disgust.

Rhodri can only look at her, though. She can't help but look away. But she was surrounded by Shelby's. Tommy stands behind her as she turns around to face him. A question rises into her mind that she hadn't thought of before.

"If you knew where he was and how to contact him, why isn't he already dead?" She asks seriously, a blank expression on her face as she refuses to give him the satisfaction of knowing her emotions.

He doesn't say anything, he looks between her and the cut up man, then Polly who looked like she did in fact want to kill him.

"Answer me" she states coldly and sharply. Honestly, she scared Tommy at this moment. Her mood was unpredictable. He didn't know what to expect. He couldn't read her. It was like when they first met. When he couldn't tell what she was thinking. When he was still learning about her. When it wasn't this messy. He owed it to her, she needed to know why.

"Because he was my comrade in France. And I didn't know what to do" he confesses. Woah. Tommy Shelby not knowing what to do. Now that was a first.

"Angharad. Ti byth am gallu gadael fi eto" you will never be able to leave me again.

Lani laughs out loud at this. He was tied to a chair with blood pouring down his face. He thought that he was in a position of power now? He was so fucking dumb.

"Rhy hwyr. Ti byth am gweld golau'r dydd eto" Too late, you're never going to see the light of day again. She says coldly, turning away from Tommy and going over to the coat rack, going into Tommy's pocket.

She had had enough. Enough of people treating her like a child. Thinking that she couldn't look after herself. Sick of people looking down at her, manipulating her. Abusing her. She was fucking fed up. She was angry. She needed to let this weakness go.

"You're not going to hurt me. You're pathetic" Rhodri speaks, in English for once. She knew that he did this to set the scene for the rest of the family. To make her out to be little. A little, powerless girl.

"Don't you fucking dare" Tommy shouts at him starting to stride towards him angrily. Although he didn't actually make it there as Lani speaks her final words to Rhodri.

"I thought you were the love of my life. But the love of my life woukdnt do that to me. I loved you. You raped me. You broke me. Hwyl fawr Rhodri" Goodbye Rhodri. She says coldly. Quickly drawing out the gun in Tommy's pocket and shooting him directly between the eyes.

And just like that, he's gone.

She did that. She took care of herself. They had all underestimated her.

Everybody looks at her in either awe or worry. Nobody says anything.

And with that she picks up her bag and tucks the gun in the top of it. She was going to need it.

"Lani please don't go" Tommy pleads one last time, a singular tear running down his face.

She reaches for his face and wipes it away with her finger. For a moment he thought that she would stay. Stay with him. Stay by his side, forever.

But he had pushed her too far.

"If you ever speak to me again, I will shoot you" she speaks calmly, removing her hand from his face. Once again her expression completely blank.

This was her last straw. Tommy knew that. He knew that she would never be the same again. It killed him knowing that he caused that. He did that to the woman he loved.

"I love you" he speaks again.

Lani knew what she had to do. She had to keep her promise to herself. She had to let him know that she wasn't going to be fucked with anymore. So once again she takes the gun out and points it down, he was too close to her.

She shoots him in the foot, once again with no emotion on her face.

As she leaves the house she doesn't look back. But she hears the shouts of pain coming from him. Then the shouts of everyone else in the room.
