First Person—Grian

Finally I'm home from work, opening my door to see only a bow on the table next to the coat rack? I didn't put my bow there, and mine is different colors. "Oh you're back!! I couldn't remember when you came back from work so I—" "Hot guy! I—" He paused looking at me. I'm not in the costume.

"Grian?..." He gasped out looking at me up and down then my name tag on the apron, "Oh sh—" "Now you know my real identity." I whisper over him. "Yeah I guess heh.." He replies, "Well- I'm- I—" he paused and smiled. "I'm going to go... maybe I'll see you later." He mumbles and grabs his bow walking straight past me.

Why didn't I think of telling him I wouldn't be in costume. What if he never talks to me again because i'm the dumb barista who— "A new application came in today and I verified it but I unfortunately caught Joel's flu so do you mind tomorrow covering a job interview for me?" Mumbo sends a text to me.

I sigh and send him back a simple sure, I should get some rest. I'll definitely need a lot for tomorrow.
