if you chose this story i'd like to just thank you❤️it's very appreciated. i'm just writing this cause i'm bored and don't really expect anything to come of it. it's just a little something that i'm having fun messing around with.

just to outline a few things🫶
•the general plot will follow the books but there will be side tracking and things that happen that aren't necessarily canon. (esp in ootp i'd say)

•i can confidently say that this story only really gets interesting from Chapter 5. the first four chapters are truly just setting the scene cause like honestly what's a story without it's foundations yk?? not to say that nothinggg happens in the first four, just that the pace picks up and the drama starts unravelling from 5. so bearing with me is appreciated lol

•it takes a few chapters for the story to focus on Harry and y/n as well (hence the somewhat slow burn), that's just because other relationships (family and friends) are being built as well! i feel as if that makes a person feel more included the overall experience of the story and make it more enjoyable because we're not jumping straight to the good bits.

•no smut until sixth year (when everyone's the age of consent). Even then though, it's reallyyyyyy not that much... just not that kind of story😭

•FLUFF

•somewhat of a slow burn

•also somewhat of a love triangle (we love jealous Harry🤞)

•i like a bit of detail to make a person feel like they're living the story, but i try not to dwell on it too much. i'm talking in the sense of describing specific lessons and stuff.

•my chapters do unfortunately tend to be on the longer side, kinda getting longer the further into the story we go
