9. Girls' night P.2

Wednesday's POV:

We've all decided to do it ourselves, as I grabbed the black nail polish, twisting the cap and opening it, as I took out the brush and smoothly brushed it on my thumb, the three of them were talking non stop, gossiping or whatever they call it. I didn't pay attention to it, as I didn't find it interesting or fun to listen to, I decided to just paint my nails without participating in the conversation. The shade of black was beautiful, it looked like a dark grey, but you could notice that it indeed wasn't black, but grey, which I liked "Wednesday, what do you think?" I heard Enid call out to me, as she showed me her nails, they were three shades of pink, fading into each other, with some white lines overlaying them, honestly, the colours weren't my taste at all. "They look okay" I simply replied, not bothering to comment about them, she looked a bit disappointed by my lack of interest, but quickly covered it up with a smile "Wow, yours look very nice!" She says, as I looked down at my nails, as if I forgot how they looked like "Thank you." I felt a weird sensation in my stomach, as if a thousand spiders were crawling around in it, what's happening?

I decided to ignore the feeling and moved on to paint my other hand "Guys, what do y'all think?" The vampire asked, showing off her nails to us, somehow they looked even more colourful and hideous than Enid's, I didn't reply, as Bianca and Enid smiled "They look great! I really like the colour fade you made, it looks like we're matching" The she-wolf announced, looking at Tanaka's nails for a moment "Guys, should we go apply the masks now?!" Bianca smiled almost mischievously, as she seemed excited about the masks for whatever reason I didn't understand. "Yeah!" The wolf yelled out, grabbing a few packets from her handbag, they had animal-like faces "Ooh, are these the ones that have like animal faces as a mask?" Yoko smiled, as Enid nodded "I'm gonna take the tiger" Bianca smirked slightly "Shouldn't you take the wolf?" The masks were a Tiger, Bear, Rabbit and a Wolf, Enid shook her head "Nope, I want the tiger!" The corners of my lips curved upwards into a small smile, but I quickly covered it up with my usual stern and stone-like expression, why was I smiling?

I must've gotten sick in the forest, that's why, Yoko grabbed the Rabbit, Bianca the Bear, leaving me with the Wolf one, I was confused on how to wear them, as the others opened the packets, taking out a small paper bag, which had the masks folded inside "Oooh, they're so pretty!" Enid smiled, as she threw the paper bag and the packet away, before starting to glue it to her face, surprisingly, it fit her face perfectly, hugging it like it was meant for her face shape "Do you need some help with it, Wednesday?" She asked, as I nodded lightly "Yes, that'd be nice." She smiled again, as she pushed my down lightly, laying me down on the bed, before straddling me, I felt my face heat up for whatever reason I didn't know, she opened the packet and took the mask out "This might feel a little cold, so prepare" Who did she think I was? I'm not scared of the cold or something, I rolled my eyes "Just apply it already" She slowly put it on my face, pressing it down with her fingers, there it goes again, the feeling in my stomach, I hated it

It felt nice having her fingers touch my face- WAIT WHAT?! Why the hell am I thinking about stuff like that?! I internally face-palmed myself, I probably looked really stupid right now, what is happening? I shrugged the thought off and closed my eyes to avoid looking at Enid, my eyes unfortunately failed me, as I stared at her face, my eyes scanning all of her features, which looked absolutely beautiful, she was absolutely beautiful.

Enid's POV:

I could feel Yoko's eyes watching me, but I payed no attention and insead continued applying the mask to the raven's face "Interesting position you're in" Yoko snickered, as I shot her a light glare, she was making this more awkward than it already was. "Shut up" I say, rolling my eyes and as I did, I caught Wednesday staring at me. Her eyes were darting around my face, almost like she was scamming it, I couldn't help but feel butterflies in my stomach, what's happening? I finished applying the mask and immediately climbed off of her, a tint of red covering my cheeks "S-So guys, what do y'all wanna do now?" I asked in a hesitant tone, I was feeling nervous, but didn't know why. "Ooh, maybe we should watch a movie!" Yoko announced "At 9pm, seriously?" The siren rolled her eyes "Yeah, what's the problem? It's dark outside, so we can watch a movie, you know.. Ooh! Ooh! We could watch a horror movie!" I frowned "You know I hate horror movies" "Oh come on, don't be a pussy!" I rolled my eyes at Yoko and groaned "Fine, but first let's make a spot" "A spot?" "Yeah, to watch the movie, you know" "Oh yeah, sure! We could set a blanket on the ground and a few pillows?"

"Okay, sure" I say, as I grab the blanket that was on my bed, folding it and laying it on the ground, next to my bed, it was big enough for 8 people to sit on, so we would fit there without a problem. I grabbed a few pillows and set them right next to my bed, so they wouldn't fall flat, the little spot looked cozy, like a fort I used to build as a kid "What movie are we gonna watch?" The siren asks, sitting down on the left side of the blanket, Yoko sat down on the left side, leaving me and Wednesday in the middle "A Christmas one maybe?" The vampire suggests, it was December after all, I nodded "Okay, choose one then" I say, as I set my laptop at the end of our feet, so everyone could see the screen "Okayyyy.. let's watch... Krampus!" Yoko chose some random Christmas horror movie, which I had never seen. She pressed the start button and the movie started with some Christmas music playing over it, Bianca decided to turn the lights off, great. We were sitting in the dark, the only source of light being the laptop screen

I was a little nervous sitting next to Wednesday, as our shoulders were touching, which she seemed to not notice, at least that's good I guess..

Not even 40 minutes into the movie, I was getting scared, as I would occasionally grab onto Wednesday's arm, though she'd always shrug out of my grasp, shooting me a glare, this time, it was different. A fucking gingerbread man jumped into the screen and I was scared shitless, screaming at the top of my lungs and of course, grabbing onto Wednesday's arm again, I could hear Bianca and Yoko laugh at me, but I couldn't care less "That was the most terrifying thing I've ever seen!" I yelled out, frowning slightly, as the psychic, again, shrugged out of my grasp, shooting me another glare "And that's not funny" I say, specifically looking at Bianca and Yoko, who were laughing their asses off, how annoying! "Oh come on, it is funny and you know it!" The vampire said, as I rolled my eyes "Shut up" She snickered, as I glanced at Wednesday for help, to which she rolled her eyes "Are you micmicking me?" I asked, crossing my arms, as she raised a brow in amusement "Maybe, maybe not." She then looked back at the laptop screen and so did I...

Idk wtf this chap is but it's pretty long ig (for me) anyways idk if this is interesting or like fun to read or wtv but yh
