20. Wanna hang out?

Enid's POV:

I was scrolling on tiktok, when Casey suddenly texted me, I immediately clicked on the notification and opened the message

Casey: Hey Enid u up?

Enid: yeah ofc why're u texting me??

Casey: I forgot to ask if u maybe wanted another date sometime? Maybe something more romantic next time

Enid: uh sure.. we could go on a date on Sunday maybe?

Casey: oh sure ig was hoping ud ask to go tomorrow but it's fine.. U doing anything?

Enid: not rlly y?

Casey: just wondering haha. I'll probably go to sleep soon so I'll text u tomorrow

Enid: oh ok bye then

I turned my head to look at Wednesday and notice that she was laying in her usual, 'dead person' position, with her hands crossed over her chest and her eyes closed. "Are you sleeping?" I ask, as her eyes suddenly open, staring at me "No." She replied, as I smiled a bit and put my phone down on the psychic's nightstand "Why not? Can't sleep?" "I just laid down, how do you expect me to fall asleep that fast?" She rolled her eyes and turned onto her side "Right, right, sorry. You didn't have to roll your eyes like that though" I say, grabbing my phone and turning it on again, I opened tiktok and started scrolling. I then came across a cute tiktok of two girls doing each other's make-up, I immediately turned the screen to Wednesday "We should totally do this!" I state proudly, smiling from ear to ear

She looked at me as if I was crazy "What? No" She frowned at my suggestion, as if questioning why I even suggested that "Aw, come on, why not?" I nudge her arm playfully "Wanna hang out tomorrow? It's Saturday and I'm not doing anything" She stayed silent for a few moments, before speaking up: "Okay, sure. We're gonna go to a cemetery and dig up graves." "Uh.. sure?" I replied, feeling a little nervous about this, I wasn't the type of person to randomly go to a cemetery on a Saturday, but I guess if that's what Wednesday wants, I'll do it. "What time are we leaving?" I ask, as she lets out a sigh "In the morning, when it's still dark out, so maybe around 5am" I nod "Um, okay, sure.. Totally not a weird time to dig a grave" "You can stay home if you'd like, I'm only going there for... Clues" I raise a brow "Clues? For what?"

She stayed quiet for a while, though it seemed like eternity "On who my stalker may be." "You have a stalker?! And why the hell would you go to a cemetery to find the clues?" My mind couldn't comprehend this information, how is a graveyard gonna help her? "They said they're a student here, so I'll look for a grave with a last name that a student from here has." I stared at her, visibly confused "What?" "Nevermind, you'll see once we get there. I'm going to sleep, don't touch me or I'll.. I'll throw your stuffed animals away, goodnight." She then turned away from me "Uh... Goodnight, sleep well" I didn't really understand this situation and the conversation we just had. I looked over at her and noticed her sleeping peacefully, I smiled a bit and gently touched her cheek

"I'm still awake, Enid." She suddenly spoke and I smiled again "You look so cute right now" "Call me that again and I'll break each one of your fingers." She closed her eyes again, I giggled "I know you won't" I then put my arm on her stomach, almost cuddling her "What are you doing?" She asks, confused by my behaviour "Can we cuddle for a bit? It's cold on your side" She stayed quiet for a moment "No.. Okay, fine. Just for a little bit"

Wednesday's POV:

I didn't know why, but I allowed her to cuddle up to me, she wrapped her arm around my stomach and put her leg on my thigh "Thank youuu" she whispers into my ear, I felt chills running down my neck, her voice was so soothing, I could pay her to talk to me all day. I thought for a moment, before wrapping my arm around her back "You can't tell me you're not acting cute right now, you're absolutely adorable" She giggles, laying her head down on my shoulder "I'm so happy you're letting me do this" She adds, sighing softly to herself. "It's a bit weird, you know, you're not the type to do this, since you apparently dislike physical touch so much" I stayed quiet and closed my eyes once again

-----------------------The next morning (srry for the time skip😭)

I slowly felt myself waking up, as I opened my eyes, the light shining right into them "Fuck.. turn the lights off" I mumble in a tired tone, as I hear footsteps, someone approaching me "Come on, silly, wake up! You said we'd go to the cemetery in the morning, it's 5:24am right now" I had completely forgotten about the whole cemetery thing. I quickly sat up and stood up from my bed, rubbing my eyes, as they slowly got used to the light, it was still dark out, just how I like it. I yawned and walked over to the bathroom, I opened the door and walked in, turning the faucet on, splashing some water on my face. After, I walked out of the bathroom and to my dresser, picking out an outfit to wear, I picked a black hoodie with some black, wide jeans and a black, leather jacket. I sat down on my bed and started changing into the clothes I've prepared

Enid was ready to go, wearing very light clothing, it was stupid, considering the weather outside. She was wearing a pink top with some colourful pants, for some reason, I didn't grow nauseous at the sight of the colours, it only happened if she was wearing them. I shrugged it off and finished changing "Ready to go?" The she-wolf asks, a smile on her face, I nod and stand up from my bed, grabbing a backpack just in case. "Okay, let's go" I say, as we both exit the dorm, walking through the hallway "Wait, what about the rule of not leaving the school grounds?" She asks, looking a little worried, I shrugged it off "We'll just sneak past, nobody will notice us." Just then, Yoko and Divina walk past us, turning around faster than lighting "Woah, where you two off to?" The vampire asks

"Uh.. the cemetery" Enid answers "The one behind the school?" The lycan turns to me for an answer and I nod "Yes, that one" I reply "Why?" Divina asks "To look for clues on who my stalker may be" "Wait.. what? Stalker? Clues? Cemetery? How are you gonna find clues in a fucking cemetery?" Yoko asks, frowning slightly. "Yeah, I don't get it either" The lycanthrope butts in "Then why are you going?" She asks, looking at Enid with a confused expression "Uh.. to hang out? I suggested me and Wednesday hang out and she said we could do this" "Sick, can we join?" The siren asks, a smirk on her face "No, none of you should be going actually, this is my business and I don't want to put you in danger." I reply, giving them all a glare "Whaaat? You're saying this after I got ready?" Enid rolls her eyes "Come on, admit that you'll need help, let us join. We could also ask a few others if they want to join, having a stalker is a serious thing"

I thought about it for a moment, more people would mean more help, which means I'll be able to find my stalker quicker. "Fine. But we'll need to be extremely careful, we're gonna sneak out of the school." I cross my arms and start walking, Enid, Yoko and Divina following after me "Isn't that fun? Hanging out in a graveyard?" The vamp asks in a sarcastic tone "Stop asking questions and walk faster, otherwise I'll go alone." I roll my eyes, as they speed up. We soon reach the outside of the school, I look around and spot a fence which separates the school yard and the cemetery, it was dark outside, so noone would notice us. "I think I found a way to get to the cemetery, follow me" I say, as I start walking towards the fence, looking around to make sure noone notices us. We reach the fence and it's about 6 foot tall.

None of us is tall enough to climb over it, so it might be challenging "Enid, you'll climb first and help the rest" I say, as I lock my hands together, Enid setting her foot in between them, as I give her a boost and she climbs over the fence. She lands on something hard and I immediately get worried she might've gotten hurt "What did you land on?" I ask, trying to see through the fence "Uh... A box of some kind" she says, as her head is visible at the top of the fence. "Okay, good, now help the rest" I say, as she reaches her hand out for me to grab, I take it and she pulls me over the fence. We soon manage to pull over Yoko and Divina, the cemetery is around half a mile away..
