13. Party

Enid's POV:

Yoko has just arrived and I walked outside the school to meet her, she stepped out of the car and immediately waved to me "Hey girl!" She yelled, as I smiled and waved back, before she came up to me "I gotta put my stuff away first and get ready, then we can go to Divina's" I nodded, as we both walked into the school and walked to the Ophelia hall, entering Yoko's dorm, as she put her stuff away "Just don't take too long to get ready" I say, as I was getting a little impatient, I was looking forward to this party and wanted to get there as soon as possible. Yoko took out a black dress, holding it in front of her body "What do you think?" The vampire asked "Yes, totally, it looks great on you!" "We should get you a dress too, you can't wear that.." She said, refering to the clothes I was wearing right now

She then walked over to her closet and found me a blue dress, which fit my style perfectly. I decided to put it on, as I grabbed it and sat down on her bed, starting to change into the dress, she put her dress on and looked absolutely fabulous with it on "Wow, you look very pretty in that dress" I say, flashing her a smile, to which she responded "Aww, thanks! You look great too!" I smiled again, as she grabbed a small bag "Are you ready to go?" I nodded, as I stood up and we both walked out of her dorm, walking towards Divina's and as soon as we reached the door, we could hear loud music coming from inside, we opened the door and were greeted by led lights flashing in the room. My mood instantly lightened up, as I was starting to enjoy this more and more.

Divina walked over to us "Hey guys, are you ready for the party to start? I was waiting for you two to arrive, so I could start" Yoko very obviously blushed, as she smiled "Y-Yeah, we can start now! I can't wait!" She was so unbelievably in love with the siren and it was so obvious. I rolled my eyes at the two and walked away to the drinks' table, I grabbed a glass of punch and started sipping on it, watching the two lovebirds from afar, it was amusing honestly. Yoko was so nervous the whole time and couldn't even answer the questions Divina was asking her, not long after - A guy suddenly came up to me and interrupted my staring "Hi!" He said cheerfully, I looked up at him, he was a tall brunette with beautiful green eyes, I couldn't help but blush a bit, as he was really handsome "Hello, do you need something?" I asked, as he smiled at me "Oh, just saw you standing here alone and thought I'd join you. I'm new to this school, so I'm trying to make some friends"

"Oh really? Well, I'm Enid Sinclair" "I'm Casey Hernandez, nice to meet you" He reached his hand out for a handshake, as I shook his hand "Nice to meet you too" I smiled, it was hard no to, as he was incredibly nice and pretty. "People probably tell you this often, but you're like really pretty" He said, as my jaw almost dropped and I blushed, someone like him was calling me pretty? That was surprising, but I was extremely happy "Oh my, thank you so much!" I squealed with excitement, as he smiled back at me "It's really no problem, I don't hold back compliments for such pretty girls, like you" I could feel my cheeks heat up, I probably looked so dumb right now, but I couldn't help it. "Wanna dance with me?" He asked, as he reached his hand out for me to take it, I nodded and took it without hesitation, as he lead me a bit further from the table and we started dancing together, it was honestly very fun and he was a great dancer.

We danced for about twenty-five minutes, before we finally let go of each other and decided to grab another glass of punch, as I was getting thirsty "You're a really good dancer, you know" I chuckled, as he smiled at me "Thank you, you're not so bad yourself. I heard Wednesday Addams is your roommate?" I was a bit surprised he knew that, but nodded "Yeah, she is, why?" "Oh, I'd just like to know more about her, I think she's an... Interesting person" He seemed very interested in the topic surrounding Wednesday, which was weird. Did he like her or something? No, I don't think so, if he liked her, he'd go talk to her himself. "Oh, well, she's a very closed person, it's hard to get her to open up, she's usually very scary and intimidating, but she has a nice side, though she only shows it to me. She's also like very mysterious, since she never tells anyone what's going on. So yeah, that's pretty much it, she only likes black and white and is 'allergic' to colours, it's only a joke of course"

"Ah, she seems like an interesting person indeed." He says, flashing me a smile "I know we just met, but would you like to go out for lunch sometime?" "Oh.. Principal Weems restricted us from leaving Nevermore, so I can't go to Jericho" "Seriously? That's so unfair! Well, can't we just sneak out? I could pick you up tomorrow at 6:30 and we could sneak out of Nevermore" I usually didn't like breaking the rules, but given the fact that a really hot boy just asked me out, I couldn't decline "Sure! I'll be ready at my dorm, it's Number ###" He smiled again, as he nodded and wrote the dorm number on his phone "Actually, could I get your number too? I'd like to text or call you once you're back" I quickly took out my phone and showed him my phone number "Of course!" The whole time, I was thinking about why I'm doing this, I don't usually give people my number so easily.

"Okay, well, give me a call when you're back, okay? I gotta go now" I nodded and smiled "Sure" I stood up "Do you have something coming up that you have to leave so early?" "Oh, it's just that I have to be at my dorm in 20 minutes, it's just like a rule between me and my roommate" "Oh okay, bye then!" I said, as he smiled and walked away, waving 'bye' to me. I couldn't keep a straight face and smiled, as Divina and Yoko walked over to me "Who was thaaat?" The vampire teased, winking at me through her glasses "That was Casey, he's taking me out for lunch tomorrow" "WHAT?" Divina yelled out "I THOUGHT YOU WERE GAY" she continued, as my face flushed "I'm not, what the hell!" I mentally face-palmed myself, as I shook my head "I'm not gay." "Girl, you're gonna have to go shopping for a dress, you can't go with this one" Yoko says and I couldn't help but agree, she was totally right

"You're right, it's 5pm right now, so I'm gonna have to go shopping soon!" I squeal in excitement, as I jump up and down, doing a little clap with my hands "How are you gonna convince Weems to let you out of the school grounds?" "Oh right.. Well, I'll just tell her I'm going shopping and that I'll be back soon and hopefully, she'll let me" "I'm gonna come with you then" The vampire says, as the siren nods her head "I'll come too, we gotta hurry up though, the store closes at 8pm" "Relax, we have 3 hours, I'm sure we're gonna be okay" I say, as I finish drinking my punch and wipe the foam off my lips with my sleeves "We'll leave at 6"
