22. The Kiss

Enid's POV:

I was very pissed off at Wednesday for putting us in danger like that, but it was also my fault, I shouldn't have agreed to go there. "I apologize" I hear the raven say, I turn around to glare at her, I was too angry to forgive her "How can you be so smart, yet so dumb at the same time? We seriously could've died! That person was probably a psycho!" I yell at her, clearly annoyed. I then turn around and start walking towards the school's entrance and once I reach it, I walk in and quickly go up the stairs to reach my dorm as soon as possible.

No one's POV:

"Yikes" The vamp says to the raven, as Divina hisses through gritted teeth "Yep, she's definitely mad at you" "That much, I know" The psychic replies, feeling a tint of guilt for making her best friend, the girl she likes mad. She didn't mean for that to happen, but life's playing games with her "You know, now that she's not here, I have some questions for you, emo" Yoko says, clearly refering to the one and only Wednesday. They start walking back towards the school, as Yoko begins asking the questions "Do you like Enid?" "What? No, why the hell would you think that?" The raven scoffs, showing her clear dislike for the question "Are you sure? Totally sure? You definitely got jealous when Casey was talking to Enid" "I don't get jealous, you're delusional, dracula" The psychic hisses, rolling her eyes in annoyance

The vampire nudges the shorter girl's arm "Oh come on, she's not here, I'm not gonna tell her anything" she teases, as the dark haired girl gives her a glare "Shut up or I'll use a cheese grater on your fangs" The dracula rolls her eyes "Oh, whatever, you're no fun" "How are you guys so calm after we almost got killed (potentially)?" Divina butts in, giving the girls a questioning look "But we didn't" Yoko shrugs

Enid's POV:

I was still angry at Wednesday for the whole abandoned house thing, but I'm glad we're all safe. It was also weird how we found Casey's grandma's or aunt's bedroom in that house, maybe it was a relative's house? Whatever, I grab my phone and start scrolling through tiktok, laying on my stomach on my bed. Suddenly, the door opens and Wednesday walks in, after her, follows Eugene "Eugene!" I smile, I haven't seen him in a while "Hi, Enid!" He smiles back at me, looks like his face healed completely after what happened last semester. "Where you off to?" I ask the raven, but she ignores me "We're going to collect spiders for my project!" The bee boy answers, seemingly excited "Oh, what project?" I ask "I'm trying to find a rare species of spiders and Weems let us go" he replies and I nod

"Okay, just be back by 8, I'll buy you some dinner" I say to the psychic, who ignores me again. I frown and stand up, walking over to her "Wednesday, just because I'm mad at you, doesn't mean you need to ignore me, I'm not that mad" I say, as she looks at me "I apologize. I did not mean to put you in danger, I'll make sure to think of your safety next time" I smile at her response and wrap my arms around her torso "Okay, okay, have fun with Eugene. Be back by 8" She nods and I let her go, as she and Eugene both leave the dorm. It's a bit funny that the raven was ignoring me just because I was angry at her, it was also weird that she didn't resist the hug, I walk back over to my bed and pick up my phone again, it was 4pm right now, still pretty early. I was bored and had absolutely 0 idea what to do to cure the boredom, I then decide to text Yoko

Enid: Hey Y wanna hang out im bored:(

Yoko: Srry Im with D rn

Enid: Srs? Are u two having sex or smth? lmao

Yoko: No wtf😭 U need to get ur dirty mind cleaned asap🤦🏻‍♀️
