10. Curse

Yoko's POV:

I kept looking at Wednesday and Enid, as she kept repeatedly grabbing onto the raven's arm, I couldn't hold back a smirk, as it was amusing to watch, I was watching them more than the movie at this point "Y'all can't have enough of each other, can you, lovebirds?" I wiggle my brows, as they both look at me, wide-eyed "WHAT?!" Enid yells, her face a blushing mess, I knew exactly what that meant and couldn't help but snicker "Oh relax, I was just joking" "Don't joke about stuff like that or I'll skin you alive as a 'joke'" The psychic says, shooting me a glare, which I rolled my eyes at to "Okay, okay, fine. Just don't skin me alive" I let out a low whimper, my brows furrowing upwards "I'm still thinking about it." Was all she said, before the noise died out and the room became silent again, I stared back at the computer screen, as the movie kept playing. "O-M-G, we should totally play Minecraft after this!" The lycanthrope suddenly yelled out in excitement

"E, are you serious..?" I give her a questioning look, as she had the biggest smile on her face "Of course!" Enid says, quickly grabbing her phone "I'm gonna go to sleep." The raven suddenly says, as we all look at her "Already? But it's only 10 pm, can't you stay a little longer?" Enid asks, her smiling dropping slightly, yet still as big as ever "I told you, once I get bored, I'm gonna leave, Sinclair. Now don't bother me while I sleep, or I'll grab my pocket knife, cut your scalp off and shove the skin down your throat" I raise a brow at Wednesday's statement, as Enid smiled again, why was she smiling at this psycho's words? "Okay, then, goodnight. Sleep wel- I mean frightfully, Wens!" After that, Wednesday left the room, closing the door after her "So, are we gonna go play Minecraft?!" The lycan yells in an excited tone, as I shake my head and chuckle a bit "Sure, whatever"

——————————————————————In the morning

I was awakened by Enid's loud alarm, as I groaned and pulled the pillow over my face "Enid, turn that loud ass alarm off!" I yell, grabbing my sunglasses from the nightstand and putting them on. Enid finally turns her annoying alarm off, seemingly already up and ready to start the day "Come on, wake up, hurry up!" She claps her hands together, signaling for me and Bianca to hurry and get up "I swear you weren't a morning person" Bianca says, glaring at Enid "Come onnnn, we leave for Nevermore soon!" Just as she said that, Wednesday suddenly barged in "Hurry up, we're leaving soon." She looked at Enid, who was ready, all her bags packed "Shit, we were supposed to leave last night, now I'll have to wait til tomorrow for my bags to arrive to Nevermore" Yoko says, as Bianca smirks "What a lucky day to have a personal driver?"

"My father and mother told to call you for breakfast." The raven stated in a rather polite tone, which was unusual for her and her personality "Okay, I'll be down in a bit!" The lycanthrope smiles, her hands interlocked behind her back "...Okay." Was all that Wednesday said, before exiting the room again "Are you guys gonna come with us?" "No, my mom is coming to pick me up" I say "My personal driver is coming, so no" Bianca also said "Oh, okay. I'll go eat the breakfast now, guess I'll see you guys in Nevermore?" I smile "Yep, I mean, you'll still see us downstairs, but still" She smiles back at me, before skipping out of the room, down the stairs.

Enid's POV:

The whole house smelt delicious, as I entered the kitchen, Morticia was standing by the stove, cooking some pancakes, while Gomez was preparing the home-made syrup, they looked very good together, like they were meant for one another. I smiled, as I sat down at the table, next to Wednesday "Good morning, dear" Morticia smiles at me, as she sat two plates in front of Wednesday and I, putting a few pancakes into them "Good morning! How'd you sleep?" I reply, as she chuckles lightly "You're very energetic this morning, aren't you? I slept well, what about yourself?" I then grabbed the knife and fork "Very well!" I stated, before starting to stuff my mouth with the delicious pancakes, pouring some syrup onto them. "How'd you sleep, Wednesday?" The psychic looks at me "Okay." My smile dropped a little at her dry response, I was expecting a bit more

"Is Yoko and Bianca coming with us?" I shook my head "Nope, Yoko's mom is coming and Bianca's personal driver will be here soon, I guess" "Oh, okay." I then continued to eat my food, stuffing my mouth like a hungry dog. "How do you feel about going back to Nevermore, dear?" Gomez suddenly asks, as I look up at him "U-Uh, excited! I guess I'm excited, since it's a new semester" I give a nervous reply, stuttering in the process "I'm glad to hear that. Wednesday has a soft spot for you, kid, you know that?" He whispered the last part into my ear, as I smiled brightly "You really think so?" "Oh, I know so. It's very obvious that you've grown on her, especially that she risked her life to save you. I knew one day the curse would reach her" He smiled "Curse?" I curiously asked "You see, there's this curse, The Addams family love curse, it's a curse where if an Addams falls in love with anyone, they will try and keep that love forever, do anything for their lover, even die. The curse is unbreakable and there's no way to get rid of it." I felt my face heat up "O-Oh, I think you got it wrong, Wednesday doesn't have any romantic interest in me" "Well, even if that's so, at least you'll know about the curse now, so watch out for signs" He winks at me, before walking off

"What did he tell you?" Wednesday asks, as my face heated up even more, it was a whole blushing mess and I couldn't think straight, did Gomez really think Wednesday had a crush on me? That's impossible! "Nothing, don't worry about it.." I mumble, feeling weak under the raven's harsh glare "Okay, okay, fine! He just told me about the.. Addams family curse or something..." Her expression softened a bit, but was still stern and serious
