14. Dress shopping

Yoko's POV:

We were all currently walking to the store, Weems has decided to let us go, since she trusted us enough to let us out

"Principal Weems, we promise we won't cause any troubles and we'll be back in like an hour!" I whined, as the Principal denied access to let us out of the school grounds "No, girls, I've already told you - No student gets to leave the school grounds for the time being, I don't know how long this will last, but it is important to keep you all safe" Weems answered, sitting back down at her desk " Please, Principal, we swear we'll be careful! Pleaaaaaaaase" I continue whining, as I wasn't willing to give up so easily "Fine, but if you won't be back by 8, you're all grounded and restricted from leaving your dorms, only for classes" "Yes! Thank you so much, we promise we'll be back soon!"

"Thank god Weems let us go, I don't have a dress to wear" Enid says, as we finally reached the store and walked in, the atmosphere was very nice, as the walls had been painted with warm colours "Wow, there's actually so many choices" I say, as I look around the store, a worker walks up to us "Hello, do you need any help choosing?" She asked, as we all looked at eachother "No, thank you, we're good" The lycan replied, as we started walking around, looking at all the choices we have "Found anything you like?" I ask, as Enid grabs a few dresses "I'm gonna go try these on and you'll have to tell me your opinions" Divina and I both nodded, as we walked over to the changing booths and waited for Enid outside.

She soon walked out with one of the dresses on, it was dark blue, with a cut leg, revealing her thigh "Hm, too revealing" Divina says, as I nod "Yeah, makes you look like a slut, sorry girl" The lycanthrope rolled her eyes, as she walked back into the booth and changed into another dress, before walking out again, she gave us a little spin, showing off the dress "What about this one?" She asked, this one looked a lot better, it was a cherry red with puffed sleeves at the bottom, the length followed down to around her knees, it had a bit of a cut in the hip area, which made it look even better "O-M-G, you look perfect! Totally buy this one!" I smile, as Divina nods and seems to agree with me on the dress. Enid also smiled at us, as she walked back into the changing booth and changed back into her clothes. She then walked out with the dress in her hand "Okay, let's go then, I'll pay for this and then we can leave"

We all walked over to the cashier, as he scanned the dress "That'll be $35,99" The wolf pays for the dress, as the cashier folds and puts it in a bag, before handing the bag to her "Thank you, goodbye!" Enid yells, as we all walk out of the store, happy. "You're gonna look so great!" Divina nudges her arm playfully "Do you think he'll like it?" She asks, as I nod "Definitely. Now come on, we have to get back, otherwise Weems will ground us." "Right" We start walking through the town, heading towards the nearest bus stop "Oh, can you guys wait here? I'm gonna go to Weathervane and get something for Wednesday, okay?" The lycan hands me her bag, as Divina and I both nod "Sure, okay, just hurry up, the bus will arrive in 15 minutes" I say, as she skips over to the café and walks in, as it was right across the street.

Enid's POV:

I skip into the café, immediately getting hit by the glorious smell, a new cashier was working there, since Tyler was fired after they locked him up. I walked over to the front "Hi, could I get six, large Muffin Cakes and two small Tuxedo Mochas?" I ordered, as I took my wallet out "Okay, that'll be $21,32" I took out a twenty dollar bill with a few coins and handed it to him, he put it in his register and handed me the change "It'll be ready in about eight minutes" He said, before he walked away into the kitchen to tell the staff my order, I walked over to an empty table by the window and sat down, staring at Yoko and Divina interacting through the window, it was amusing to watch, as the two lovebirds were so obviously in love with eachother.

Around 6 minutes later, he finally brings my order, the Muffin Cakes in a bag and the Tuxedo Mochas in another. I grabbed the two bags and stood up "Thank you, bye!" I said, before walking out the door, our bus has just arrived, so I had to run across the road really fast to be able to arrive in time, I quickly made my way to the entrance and stepped in, finding a seat near Yoko and Divina, who were sitting together in the back. I sat down on the window seat, noone sat beside me, so I was alone and enjoying it. It was 7:30pm right now, so hopefully we won't be late and Weems wouldn't have to ground us, as that would suck..

The bus finally dropped us off at Nevermore, as the three of us got out and started making our way towards the school, luckily we arrived in time and Weems won't scold us for being late, we walked into the school and started walking towards Ophelia Hall "Where's my dress?" I ask, as Yoko hands me the bag "Here, don't worry" she says, as I grab the bag and say my goodbyes, before walking over to my dorm and waving bye to Yoko, as her dorm was close nearby "Hey, Wednesday!" I say, as I walk into our shared dorm, she was out in the balcony, finishing playing her cello, as she started packing her stuff and heading back inside the room "Hello, Enid" she suddenly says, as she walks in through the window, I smile and take out three of the muffins from the bag and set them on her desk along with the mocha "I bought you something to drink and eat, I figured you'd be hungry or maybe thirsty"

She stared at me for a moment, before opening her mouth to talk: "How much was it?" "Oh, it was $21,32, why?" She then reached out for her pocket and took out a ten dollar bill, handing it to me "Here, that's half, unless you want the cents too." "Weds, I don't need the money, keep it" "Take it" she commanded, as she pushed her hand with the money into me, forcing me to take it "Alright, fine, thank you. Just tell me if you don't like the drink or the food" she nodded and walked over to her desk and sat down, starting to eat the muffins, as she puts the straw into the mocha, slowly sipping on it "How was the party?" The psychic suddenly asks, I shoot my head to look at her and smile "It was great! I met this guy, Casey and he was so nice, he invited me to lunch tomorrow" "Lunch? Tomorrow?" I nod "Yes! 6pm tomorrow, he said he'll pick me up, we're gonna go to Jericho" her expression seemed to change a bit, as she continued eating "That's nice."
