Chapter 26: Monster Servant

3rd person pov:

As izuku walks down the cold stone stairs. He hears metal tools creeking ahead of him. Once in the main halls of the dungeon. Izuku's footsteps make no more sound as he steps onward.

Shoji:"I keep telling you. We aren't a part of that organization!"

Izuku opens the door to see two men dressed in rags with arms above their heads. Help there by chains.

Izu:"Tell me everything t h at happened. If you lie. You die."

Izuku stands infront of them with arms crossed and a glare that could kill.

Tomaki:"We....... we were our hunting for our families and some of the nearby villagers that can't anymore. While out there, we heard the whistle of a bird go over head. It seemed unusual. So we shot it down."

Shoji:"As one of our friends picked up the bird. We saw it marrying a letter wrapped around it's leg. Before any of us could read it. The ground began to shake. That's when it showed up."

Tomaki:"a beast six times the size of a normal man pushes trees aside as if it were a bush to him."

Shoji:"I..... I can still hear it's rawring voice."

Makia:"Master wants bird!"

Toko:"It reached down and grabbed mineta by the head and killed him. Once he dropped the bird. We saw something terrifying. It........ it ate him."

The head torturer looks over at izuku.

Jeanist:"That would explain the blood at the scene. How did you both servive?"

Shoji:"We didn't move. No, we couldn't move! Please be careful my lord. That thing is a monster."

Toko:"We saw it head back towards the village if that helps any, but we didn't follow it."

Izu:"Did it come from the same direction?"

Both men shake their heads yes. So izuku calms down.

Izu:"Release these men and get nezu to treat their wounds. As an apology for all that has happened. I'll give you both three deer each. That should help with feeding the village right?"

Shoji:"That's more than enough. Thank you my lord. If there's anything we can do to repay you. Please don't hesitate to ask."

Once freed. Both bow. Tokoyami then  uses the nearby paper and quill to draw a map of the area.

Toko:"Here are hunting paths and structures that are abandoned in the area. Some are hidden underground."

Shoji"'Now that I think about it. That thing has never been seen in town before."

Toko:"Which means it must be from one of these."

Both begin to brainstorm with jeanist helping out. While izuku heads back upstairs.

Once izuku steps upstairs. He's greeted by Bakugou and Edgeshot coming back inside.

Baku:"Call a meeting. We just got a messenge."

Izu:"Those who dwell in the shadows. I need two of you to watch over and protect my wife and child. Let no one near them."

Mirio and tamaki nod and head over at once.

Once in the meeting room. Bakugou hands the letter to mic.

Mic:"Dearest emperor izuku midoriya. I've sent this letter as a branch of peace. My offer is but a simple task. Lay down your crown and put your collar back on. Serve me as you did my father. Do t b at and no one gets hurt. Should you refuse this. You'll leave me no other choice but to take what's mine by force. Your men will die, wife will be bedded by my army, and you'll be made an example of in front of the nation. Let's not forget. After my men are done with the lady. I'll personally see to it that you get a front row seat for when I rip your child out of the womb. As for the gladiator you love so much. I'll display his head over your bed. That way you can look into his lifeless eyes before falling asleep. You have until the birth to make the decision. Simply give your answer to the bird and release it. I'll be waiting."

Mic looks down.

Mic:"Sorry sir, but I left out grosome details and parofrazed a bit. This man isn't human."

Shoto:"He isn't. The only person that master has ever served is dead. I'm the only son that's left alive. Fuyumi died years ago from a fever. So it couldn't be her."

Baku:"My advice. Relocate you and your wife away from the threat until the child is born. Then we'll attack."

Izu:"What about you?"

Baku:"I'll stay behind. Since we're usually together. They'll think you're still here. That way, we can set up a trap. If everything goes well. You should be able to come home safely."

Bakugou holds izuku's hand and rubs it to comfort him.

Izu:"Very well, but I want the casualties low or only on his side."

Everyone nods in agreement.

Mic:"Tonight we'll leave out. So be sure to pack your things."

Izu:"You stay behind and help. The two shadows will be our guards. Shoto, I want you to help in the search. Leave no rock unturned."

Shoto nods, and bakugou smirks.

Baku:^ You've changed so much since we first met. I can't wait to see what you'll do next.^

After hours of packing. Izuku and ururaka use the cover of night to make their escape through the underground river system. Once the boat is in position. Bakugou kisses izuku.

Izu:"My only order for you is to live and slaughter."

Baku:"Understood."

Both nuzzle noses for a moment before izuku is helped on to the raft. Once ururaka in onboard. They're lowered into the water and set out. Izuku looks back to enjoy every moment he can to see bakugou before they're out of site.
