REWRITE POSSIBLY?!?!

Hi guys! It's been a long long while but I'm so happy to still see a ton of engagement on this book.

I'm sure you can all relate, but I admit the Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes has completely reignited my love and passion for this series and of course, it got me thinking about this book.

I was in the process of writing a completely new Finnick Odair fanfiction (amongst other fandoms ofc) but have never gotten to the point of publishing any of them. But, after thinking about it for a while, and remembering why I loved this franchise so much in the first place, I decided to revisit this book!

After some planning, I realized everything I didn't quite like with this story and have created completely new plans for it.

I want to rewrite it completely! I plan of keeping the same characters and same basic premise/plot, but I'm going to expand it so much more.

While writing this book, I had ideas for a prequel story to expand Zale and Aurora's relationship as well as her relationship with Finnick. And so after revisiting those ideas, I decided that this rewrite would begin at the point right before Aurora and Zale's games, and would subsequently follow their games and the aftermath, and then eventually to the movie/book series (maybe).

But since its still very much in development, I wanted to hear your guys' opinions on it and I especially wanted to ask if it would be better to TAKE DOWN THIS STORY'S CHAPTERS and completely refurbish it, or if I should keep this one up and post the rewrite/prequel as a SEPARATE STORY.

Hopefully announcing this will guilt trip me into committing to a rewrite because I am so excited for the ideas I have. But until then, it is still very much in development :)
