When Aurora had envisioned her dress for the parade, she assumed it would've been something very small, so her skin would show through. With the Capitol citizens having heart eyes for her and her friend, the more skin the better. Snow sold them to the crowd like sex objects. It was revolting, evil overall. He dressed them up like dolls to put for sale, so much so, that the Capitol had no clue who they were under their masks.

Dakota made it so, that Aurora Evans could shine like the beautiful star she was deep down, and be the pearl the Capitol believed her to be. She wanted to make Aurora look beautiful, like a goddess, whilst still following tradition with District Four.

"Keep them closed. I'm just making some final adjustments." Dakota muttered, tweaking the added bits on her dress. "You look like you are one with the ocean, darling."

"Is that a good thing?"

"Very. A very good thing Aurora." Dakota messed with the dress once more, before removing her hands from her. She rubbed her hands together, observing every spot of the dress, looking for some imperfections. Finally satisfied, she spoke.

"Alright, open them."

Aurora opened her eyes only for them to widen. She looked beautiful like she lived in the ocean herself. The dress reached down to her ankles and was made of almost a net-like material. The netting was very thin, so lots of skin was shown, but she didn't expect anything less. Pearls were scattered around the neckline, along with light green colored fabric to resemble seaweed. It was shining, the dress shined. Her hair cascaded over her shoulder, in large dark brown waves, similar to the waves of the ocean. Her makeup was a mixture of different blues and greens, sparkles glued around her eyes.

"I-wow. If this is my dress for the parade, I'm excited about the interview." Her eyes ran over her reflection, over and over again. "I look amazing, Dakota. Thank you so much."

"Everyone will absolutely adore you when they see you in that chariot. You've grown up so much." Aurora laughed at her tone. She sounded like her mother. "I remember you were only 15 when I last dressed you. Now you're a beautiful, mature, young adult."

Aurora remembered when she first had gotten dressed for the games. She was only a young innocent child, unknown to all the horrors the world had to offer. She found herself missing that time when she was clueless. For the cluelessness gave her a far better feeling than the pain of knowing.

"I hope I do this dress justice," Aurora stated, not taking her eyes off it.

"Well, I only hope the dress does you justice. You are the main show here." Dakota meant it. Nothing was more beautiful than the bravery the girl in front of her had. Aurora had endured a typhoon of hardships, yet still managed to plaster a smile onto that beautiful face of hers. The dress was created to compliment her features, not the other way around.
