Aurora and Finnick had been rushed to the train, as quickly possible

Aurora and Finnick had been rushed to the train, as quickly possible. It seemed as if Snow had been eager to see them in the Capitol. Aurora wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. This game was sure to be Snow's favorite. All the subjects that managed to survive and endure his sick and twisted game were now being put through the wringer once again. They were pigs being put into the slaughter over and over again. No one was truly free from Snow's grasp.

The drive to the train had been silent. Aurora cherished it, however. She knew the moment they'd step off the train, Capitol Citizens would be bombarding them with attention, a thing she'd learn to despise. She had always wondered how Finnick managed to handle the fame so well. He stayed at the capitol for months on end, and still came home the same as before. That was only one of the many talents Finnick Odair possessed.

When they had finally entered the train, they were relieved to find none other than Mags Flanagan peacefully sat on the sofa by the window.

A smile shot up on Aurora's face as she rushed towards Mags. "Oh Mags." She wrapped her arms around the small lady she loved so dearly. "You're mentoring?"

They pulled away, as Mags gave a small nod, only bringing a feeling of relief to Aurora. Mags was with them, to see them before the games.

"We're glad you're here Mags." Finnick came forward and gave Mags a hug as well.

"Is Annie alright?" Aurora asked, to which Mags replied with another nod, a beautiful smile gracing her lips.

"Well, then who's the other mentor?" Finnick questioned looking around the room, which seemed empty. There were only a few other male victors from District Four. Most were over the age of 30, Finnick being the youngest.

Just as everyone began to get curious, a new voice joined in. It was a familiar one to Aurora.

"Oh, didn't know you've arrived already." The man stood tall, his voice was deep and grumbly. It was none other than Ace Ripley, the victor of the 56th Hunger Games. He stole his victory by joining an alliance with the Careers and brutally murdering them in their sleep when most the other victors were gone. "I was in the other room having a drink."

"Of course, they'd choose none other than Ace Ripley to be the Quell's mentor, hm?" Aurora remarked. She had known Ace for quite some time, occasionally speaking with him from time to time down at the pier. After his games, he'd go boating almost every single day. Unlike most other victors, he'd managed to continue going on strong.

"Well, with Finnick mentoring every year, I hadn't been to the Capitol in years." He walked closer to them, to stop in front of Aurora. "You're in good hands Aurora. You've got the best possible mentor in all of Panem."

Aurora chuckled at his compliment. She went forward as engulfed him in a large hug, needing all the comfort she could get. "I'm glad you're here Ace."
