A month passed after Beatrice went to the next step with Simon and Brendan.
Each day was full of them showing her with romantic and passionate affection that left her blushing wildly.
Sometimes it was sweet but when they came back from the club they were more touchy.
She knew that they wanted more but she was nervous.
Beatrice wasn't a virgin but it had been a while and she knew it would hurt like the first time.
She had also been off the pill for too long and kept putting off booking an appointment.
She stood in the kitchen as she struggled to make a cake from scratch.
She was looking at the cookbook like she was studying because she didn't know why it was going so wrong.
It was their anniversary tomorrow and she wanted to cook because they would be at the club all day for deliveries.
But now she was questioning if she could even make something more complex than toast.
Suddenly she felt hands on her waist.
She smiled "What's this?" Brendan asked.
"A cake," she said.
"A cake?
Bunny if you think that is a cake you need to see a doctor" he said.
"I tried.
I followed what this stupid thing says" she said.
He ran his hands up and down her arms.
"It's a nice attempt," he said before turning her around to face him.
"I missed you.
Joel was being an annoying brat all day" Brendan said.
"Your personalities clash.
I don't know why he still tries to make things work.
He deserves to get out of the club after what you've put him through" she said.
"Who's side are you on?" he asked.
"Depends on who's right.
Most of the time you" she said.
He smiled before kissing her.
She wrapped her arms around his neck as he pressed her against the counter.
He looked at her before lifting her onto the counter causing her to laugh.
He kissed her neck, her breath quickened as she struggled to push him away.
She knew she needed to but she didn't want to.
She pulled his hair as he left dark hickeys down her neck and on her collarbones.
He unbuckled his belt causing her heart to stop.
She stopped him before looking at him.
"Brendan we can't," she said.
He looked at her "Why?" he asked.
"I'm not ready," she said.
"What's the real reason?
I can tell you're ready so what are you not telling us" Brendan said.
"I'm not on the pill, Brendan," she said.
He looked into her eyes.
"Bunny why didn't you say that from the start?" he asked.
"Because I wasn't lying before," she said as she crossed her legs on the counter.
"It's been a long time and I know it'll really hurt.
I'm just nervous" she said.
"I'm gonna promise you something.
The first time me and Simon sleep with you you won't be in pain.
All you will feel is pleasure" he said.
"How do you know that?" she asked.
"I just do," he said.
She smiled "I'm sorry for not telling you," she said.
"Don't be sorry.
I'll book you an appointment so you can get on the pill alright and then you can decide when you want this" Brendan said.
"Why is it always you taking control?" she asked.
"Because im in control" he said before kissing her.
He lifted her off the counter before spinning her.
None of her old relationships could come close to this.
She knew this was it.
Simon and Brendan were the ones and she knew that.
