Hours passed as Brendan watched the twenty cars lined up in front of the car.
"How long has it been?" Simon asked.
"Ten minutes," Brendan said.
Brendan looked back at Beatrice before tucking a piece of loose hair behind her ear.
"She's never slept this much," Simon said.
"Joel said she went to the club when we were out.
She cleaned the entire place to surprise us.
Then the police called because her half-brother fucking died and then she only got a little bit of sleep before having to avoid being killed.
I wouldn't be surprised if she wakes up when we get to the house" Brendan said.
"Did she ever tell you about her family?" Simon asked.
"Nah.
But the way I see it they are already all dead.
That's why she left London.
New start and all" Brendan said.
The traffic started moving again as Brendan continued to drive slowly through the cluster of cars.
Once they got away from the traffic Brendan pulled into a motel.
"I've got an idea," Simon said as they sat in the car park.
"Yeah?" Brendan looked at him.
"We stay here for an hour or so and tell her what's going on," Simon said.
"Not bad.
While we're here we need to get some food in her" Brendan said.
"I'll carry her in," Simon said.
They got out and Brendan went inside to get a room.
Simon carried Beatrice in before they went into their room.
Simon laid her on the bed before sitting next to her.
"We either do this now or later," Simon said.
"Now," Brendan said.
Simon shook her softly causing her to groan before fluttering her eyes open.
"Morning," she said as she looked at Simon.
She sat up before kissing him.
She felt betterthann she did before.
It felt nice to finally have a clear head.
She then looked around before feeling her heart sink.
"Where are we?
Why are we not at the house?" she asked as she looked at Brendan.
"We need to tell you something bunny.
Alright?" Brendan said
"What?
What's going on?" she asked.
"This has been the plan for a little over a year.
Do you remember that house in Ireland?" Brendan said.
"Yeah," she said softly.
"We are starting a new life there," Simon said.
She looked at Simon before looking at Brendan.
"What?
But I thought it was too expensive.
We don't have that kind of money" she said.
"Cheryl helped with what we didn't have.
She wanted us to get out of that village as much as we did" Brendan said.
She teared up as she smiled.
"I didn't think you would do it.
Leave everything behind" she said.
"Are you kiddin' me bunny?
I've wanted to get out of the village for years" Brendan said.
"What about the club?" she asked.
"I gave it to Joel and Cheryl.
Never again will I look at that place" Brendan said.
"You know what this means right?" she asked.
"What?" Brendan asked.
"We're running away from the police.
Well, I am" she said before laughing.
"Don't worry about that.
I took care of that too" Brendan said.
"I don't think words could explain how much I love you both," she said.
"We already know," Simon said.
She smiled at him "Now tell me why we're here?" she said.
"We didn't want to tell you in a busy road.
Just in case you decided to run out of the car" Brendan said.
"I'm not that stupid," she said.
Brendan looked at her.
"I'm not," she said.
"Alright.
Whatever you say" Brendan said.
"Oi," she said before hitting him in the chest.
"I'm just joking," he said.
"Good.
I recently just killed someone so im really not in the mood for your banter Bren" she said.
"I'm going to split this up before she claws your eyes out," Simon said.
Simon then kissed her.
"Hungry?" Simon asked.
"Slightly," she said.
"Come on.
Let's go see what this place has" Simon said before they walked out off the room with Brendan behind them.
