23. Days skip

ARHAAN

Days passed by very fastly, Jeevika by my side. We had made a good bond. We used to talk everyday about lot of stuffs. Sometimes, she narrated me the story of her childhood days while sometimes I narrated the story of my college days.

Whenever I looked in her eyes, I could not take my eyes of them. I knew that I was falling for her. Day-by-day, little-by-little. I wanted to her to know, how I feel about her. I wanted to open my heart out infront of her. She is really a bliss.

In the past two months, many things happened. I used to drop her daily to her work and then leave for my work. We used to be busy in our respective works but on Sundays, she probably threatened to kill me, if I took even my laptop out. We used to spend the day by watching movies, visiting places, talking to our parents on video call.

She introduced me to her best friend, Gauri. She too is a nice girl. She even visited us for dinner and we enjoyed a lot. Within this short interval of time, our relationship had made a lot of progress.

Every morning she used to wake up in my arms and we greeted each other with a beautiful smile on our faces. We had our breakfast together. Sometimes, Annu used to join us on breakfast and Jeevika used to leave for work with a heavy heart.

She no more jumps on my touch. Nowadays she messages me 'I miss you' most of the time when we're at work. She no more hesitates to come over my chest and sleep.

This probably happened 10-12 days ago that- At night, I was busy in my work and was using my laptop and talking to someone over call. She tried to grab my attention a few times but she failed because I was for real super busy. So what she did the next was, she came closer to me and took my laptop from my lap. She closed it in a go and kept it on the side table. She came and kept her head on my lap and hugged me tightly.

Goosebumps! as she had never done it before.

She took my other hand, placed it on her hairs and signalled me to caress it. She looked so cute on my lap that I couldn't resist. I immediately cut the call and caressed her hairs. We then talked till late night and then she slipped into my arms to sleep on my chest.

She really showed that she wanted to give our marriage a chance not only by her words but also by her actions. And here we were happy. I can say this so surely because her smile says it all. Every time she smiles while looking into my eyes, her eye shines with happiness. Every time we go out, she holds my hands tightly. She shares with me every bit of her life. She listens to me with all her heart.

She is a pure gem. How can somebody not fall for her?

Today is Holi. We came to Prayagraj to celebrate our Holi with family as we both had taken leave for the next one week. Jeevika is sleeping in my arms peacefully. Lesser than she knows that I'm going to confess her my feelings very soon.

She opened her eyes lazily as the alarm rang disturbing her sleep. I immediately turned off the alarm.

"Sleep baby, there's time", I said caressing her hairs.

"Arhaaaan", she said in a really seductive-morning-voice. "Yes baby", I said softly.

"My stomach", she held her stomach and said. "Kya hua baby, koi problem hai?".

"It's hurting", she said in half asleep voice. But then she flinched and got up immediately from the bed.

She looked at me with widened eyes and ran towards the bathroom.

JEEVIKA

I woke up this morning with a very bad stomach ache. My body was paining. When I realised what it could be, I immediately rushed towards bathroom and I was correct. PERIODS.
