27. 'You don't need to wear it'

We woke up together, the next morning in each other's embrace. As soon as he realized that I was awake too, he kissed me again on my lips. God! We kissed each other the whole night I think. Still, he wants more of it! Naughty Arhaan.

I got out of my bed and finished my morning chores. I got dressed up in a beautiful sky blue kurta-set.

I went to my room and he asked, "Something special today, wifey?".

"Hmmhmm.. Your sister's birthday I think..useless brother!", I taunted and teased him.

"O shit! How can I forgot that? You wished her?".

I nodded my head and said," It isn't late yet, go and wish her immediately and come back too immediately. I need to buy some gifts for her, you've to take me outside!".

He went outside and returned back after few minutes. "She would have killed me if I had been even a slightest second late", he exclaimed and took a sigh of relief. I laughed and said, "Get ready, FASTLY".

He got ready after few minutes and I informed maa about it and went outside.

Arhaan was driving when he asked, "When is your birthday, btw?".

"Are you even my husband?", I asked looking towards him.

"Acha sorry na, tell me now?", he said with a pout on his face.

"31st July".

"Okayyy", he said.

"And yours?", I asked.

"Should I ask you the same thing baby. ARE YOU EVEN MY WIFE?".

I made a pout and smiled.

"10th May", he answered.

"Okayy.. one month left". "Yes".

We reached to our destination and came out of the car. We first went to shop some good dresses for Pihu and I luckily found one white dress for her and bought it. Next, Arhaan wanted to by a sliver bracelet for her. So, we bought one and headed back towards home. On the way, we also bought a bouquet of red roses for her.

When we reached home, Pihu wasn't present there. It was pre-decided that she would spend the day with her friends and night with her family. So, we decorated the house together and I prepared some good meals for dinner.

Day turned into night. It was almost 7pm when Pihu reached home. She was surprised seeing the hall decorated. She thanked all of us and then we moved further for cake-cutting. She cut the cake and fed one-by-one to maa, papa and then to Arhaan and Arjun.

She came towards me and fed me the cake with her hand and I fed her some too. I also applied a little cream on her face and we hugged each other. She then, took maa and papa's blessing as they applied 'tika' on her forehead. They gifted her a beautiful watch and she thanked them. She then came towards us and was bending down to touch Arhaan's and my feet, when Arhaan stopped her in halfway and side-hugged her.

"Always be happy", he said and kissed on her forehead. Pihu came towards me and we hugged again tightly. I forwarded the gift to her. She opened the box and became happy after seeing it.

"Thank you so much Bhabhi, I loved the gift".

I smiled. Arjun too gifted her a box which had 10 pairs of beautiful jhumkas. She loved it too and jumped in excitement. Pihu-my desi girl!

We had our dinner together and after dinner we also had ice-creams. Tomorrow, we had our flight for Delhi. Everyone was tired and we went to sleep in our respective rooms. I had already packed everything. I lay down beside Arhaan and he pulled me towards himself. He pecked me on my lips and greeted me 'good night'.
