41. Confessions

JEEVIKA

"Now tell me what happened?", he asked me.

I shook my head in negative.

"Nahi batana?", he asked.
I shook my head again.

"Acha koi baat nahi, kabhi aur bata dijyega,abhi soiye chaliye".

He placed me on the bed and lay down himself beside me. He made me sleep on his arm and was caressing my hair lightly.

"I love you Arhaan", I muttered against his chest.

He lifted my chin up bt his fingers.
I looked at me with wide eyes and questioned, "ab seriously Darr lag raha hume,kuch toh baat hai?".

I slapped his chest lightly and he chuckled.

I looked down again.
"Kehti nahi na aajkal aap, hum izzhaar karte apne pyaar ka toh aap shant ho jati hai", he said in a dry voice.

"I'm sorry Arhaan".
"I understand Jeevika, I understand ki aap muskil daur se guzar Rahi, it's okay".

"Aap nahi guzar rahe?", I asked.He paused and looked into my eyes deeply.

"I'm asking you something Arhaan, aap nahi guzar rahe?".

He just hummed.

"That's the reason I called myself selfish, I never thought about you, I never realized that even you, you were equally a part of this.".. "As much as I was in pain,you too were in pain, Am I right?".

He remained silent.

"Am I right, Arhaan?".

His eyes moistened. A lone tear rolled down his cheek and I wiped it off with my finger.

"I'm so sorry Arhaan. I'm sorry for being this selfish that I never asked you about your condition, your mental state I'm sorry shona".

He wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tightly. Even air wasn't able to pass through us.

He placed his lips on my forehead and kept it on the same spot for long minutes.

"I love you too,Jaan, I love you too~I love you so much", he said near my ear.

I kissed him on his cheeks and then pecked on his lips.

I moved himself back and saw me. He cupped my face and said, "I thought I'll never get my old Jeevika back!".

I smiled and tears rolled down my cheeks too.

"I'm..sorry",I stuttered.

"Bas ab aur sorry nahi, bahut sunliya humne, chup ab", he said with a smile on his face.

After some 5minutes of silence, I spoke, "aap please humse share karein ki aap kysa feel karte hai.. kya chalta hai aapke Mann me.. aapbhi toh sochte honge na iske baare me?".

He kept his hand on my stomach and said, "Honestly baby, I don't think about him at all. I've realised and accepted lately that,when the luck will favour us, everything will fall on it's place"...
"I feared more about you,the most precious person of my life,you my love. I know your overthinking power. I know your state of mind was disturbed. I know you wanted to be all alone,all the time and even you forced yourself to come here for Pihu's wedding."

I looked down but he lifted my face up and continued, "Society is a real bitch. I knew people will taunt us, particularly you, because you're a woman. If you remember I never forced you to attend this wedding but you did and I felt happy"...

.."and trust me Jaan, everytime when someone asked you about this, I just wanted to punch on his/her face."

"You already did, you gave everyone a perfect reply that I know I could never give", I chuckled.

"Ek baat kahe aapse?", he asked.

"Ji kahiye na".

" Pehle bhi keh chuke hai hum, fir bhi Aaj keh rahe hai, agar hamari zindagi me papa Banna aapke keemat pe aata hai, toh Hume nahi chaiye jaan", he said and kissed my forehead.

"Hum bahut pyaar karte hai aapse, hum dono koshish toh kar rahe hai na Jaan, bhagwan ji jab chahenge tab hi woh hoga, aap itni chinta kyu karti hai".

"Logon ki baaton se khud ko pareshan karna band kijye jaan, aap hamari biwi hai, hamari baat ka farq parna chaiye aap par sirf".

I nodded my head in response.

"Understood?",he asked.
I nodded again. He took my cheek in his mouth and bit it hardly. "Muh se kahiye".

"Yes".
"Good girl". I smiled.

"Pihu chali gayi?".

He shook his head and said,"yaheen hai aapki nanad, mil lijiyega subhe, kal raat ke khane ke baad chali jaegi, hamari bhi flight hai parso Delhi ki".

I made an 'O' with my mouth and said, "And that girl with whom you were cheating on me?".

"Hein, Jeevika gandi baat", he said.

"Kidding, Aarush's cousin..is she staying her?".

"No she left this evening".
"Oh..okay".

Soon we fell sleepy and slept in each other's arms.

The next morning I woke up when sun rays fell on my eyes. I looked beside me. What a serene scene it was!~Arhaan sleeping beside me.

I got up and kissed him on his cheek.

This man! Whatever wrong I did with him in the past days, I'll make it correct. I'll shower him with all the love that I can.

I will find new ways to bring back life in our lives!

I got up from my bed and finsihed my morning routine. I came out in a fresh pair of salwar-suit and went to prepare breakfast.

I was cooking when Pihu came inside and hugged me from behind.
"bhabhi bhabhi .. you're back finally yayy".

I hugged her back and kissed her on her cheek. No doubt she is the best nanad I could ever have.

"Patidev kahan hai aapke?", I asked her.

"Jogging~fitness freak".

"Same as your brother" and we both laughed.

Almost after 30minutes everyone joined on the dining table. I served the food to everyone and sat beside Arhaan to have my food.

"Bhabhi shopping?", pihu asked me.
"sure", I replied.
"Get ready soon".
"Okayy", I replied.

I went back to my room and took out my clothes from wardrobe to change.

Arhaan entered inside the room and asked, "hmm nanad-bhabhi are going on shopping today".

"Yes, do you want something?"

"Yes",he replied. I raised an eyebrow to get my answer and he continued further," just bring my wife safe back".

I laughed and said,"silly".
He came closer to me and held me from behind. He started placing wet kisses on my neck and said," ab kahiye silly".

"Umm.. leave me na Arhaan".
"Never", he said and kissed me deeply on my neck.

I pushed him a little and he stepped back. I disappeared inside the bathroom to change my clothes.

I was standing infront of the mirror when Arhaan came and hugged me from behind and said, "My beautiful wife".

I blushed.

"Bua ji aarahi hai dophar ko...", I turned to look towards him after listening his words.

"That's why you asked pihu to take me out on shopping,right?".
He looked down in response.

"Thoda late se aaiyega,hum nahi chahte unke mu se kuch bura nikle, aur fir hum bado ka aadar karna bhul Jaye".

I hugged him. He kissed me on my forehead and said," Take care of yourself and Pihu".

I hummed and then left the room.
