As an ancestor of of Randy Cunningham, one of the former Norrisville Ninja's, (Y/n) is suddently sought after by the Principal of UA himself Nezu as a potential student for the famous hero school UA.

Hi! Welcome, glad to have you along for this spontaneous super random book I just suddenly decided to do. Before I get into information relevant to our little story here, I'd like to provide a fair warning: I am in NO WAY a qualified writer. I read self-insert fanfic as comfort and even though it was a bit of a "reputation" it's obvious that the authors deeply care for making a nice compelling story for others to enjoy. That is exactly how I will be treating this story, it's my little hobby that hopefully others will enjoy as well. I hope you can enjoy this little ride into my frankly weird mind and this story i will be putting together, by no means it'll be perfect but i'll try my hardest!

(Y/n)'s last name WILL be Cunningham, it's plot relevant but that about it with the explicit descriptors I'll put on them.
No physical descriptions and will be following standard self insert signifiers where needed (ex: eye color= e/c etc.)
(Y/n) will be a bit on the shorter side since in short myself, but it won't be brought up often or relevant other than probably for certain story beats.
(Y/n) will be as gender neutral as possible, so let me know if i fuck up and add a non neutral pronoun (its probably bound to happen at some point but I'll try my best).
There are certain elements of gender that are brought up in the story, i.e. the changing rooms and the hot springs, fortunately i have an easy fix! (Y/n) is American and for plot will be moving to Japan and while America does have gendered dressing rooms in schools for P.E, it doesn't have public shower rooms (unless I'm sheltered and it does???), but I'll just make it so (Y/n) is super uncomfortable with using the public hot springs or anything like that so they'll avoid that like the plague (also because of how the ninja costume works (Y/n) doesn't really even need a dressing room just to put on the mask).
For simplicity's sake (Y/n)'s regular casual outfit is just what Randy wears in the cartoon. And the UA uniform they'll wear is the male variant for more neutrality.

(Y/n) "Quirk" Info:
I kind of think it's a pity that even though Deku started off quirkless he didn't stay quirkless and got mega lucky with the whole OFA thing sort of making the point that quirkless people can't be heroes and I find that sad, yes it's becoming more plot relevant with the later seasons, but a the beginning it kind of painted the lesson that if Deku didn't get a quirk he wouldn't have become a hero. So (Y/n) is quirkless, how they got the ninja mask and the Nomicon will be further explained in the prologue.
Abilities: Everything Randy can do in the cartoon including Ninja weapons, smoke bombs, Ninja Air Fist, Earth attack, Art of disguise, Heightened senses, Underwater breathing, Ninja Rage mode/Tengu FireBall, Art of Healing, (and even though Randy never got the chance to explore them, thanks Disney) Invisibility, Flying, Telepathy (as shown briefly in the episode "Dawn of Discord'') and Ninja Cold Rage (from online game Punchocalypse).
I could add other element related powers considering in canon Randy can control Earth and Ice, so eventually we can assume he would've mastered all elements (again, thanks disney >:T), but we'll see if that's something you guys could be interested in and how I could add it to the story.
Also the creator of RC9GN said Teresa was Randy's true love, so they did end up together and started a family and stuff, but in the current story they are long in the past so they'll only be mentioned in passing (Randy and maybe Howard will be mentioned way more than Teresa though).
The story will be canon compliant until the Training Camp Arc (I have plans for that >;3 one's that you'll hopefully appreciate), but the Provisional License Exam Arc will continue like in canon as well.
(Y/n)'s personality will be revealed as we go, but they're pretty chill, casual, but obviously know how to be serious when needed.
It won't be too romance focused, though there will be romantic moments throughout that could feed into potential different separate endings for characters and crushes being had on (Y/n), but (Y/n) won't have any explicit romantic feelings for anyone to make sure that the endings line up properly (so kind of like in the BNHA anime with how Uraraka's crush on Deku is treated, it's there but not a big focus).

Class 1-B (but really only Kendo and Monoma since the others don't make a big impression on me, sorry not sorry)
Inasa (but he'll only appear so much since Shiketsu)
Tamaki Amajiki (hard maybe since he's a third year we'll barely see)
