Chapter 42: Siblings, Siblings, Siblings, SIBLINGS! :D

(Y/n) and Todoroki were walking to the VRP dorm after acquiring the ds and charger from Shinso.

Both teens were walking in silence, well almost silence (Y/n) was humming quietly.

Todoroki was walking as he looked at the floor, his mind racing through all of the possibilities of how this meeting with his oldest brother would go. It was nerve racking to not know how Dabi would react to the root of his downward spiral.

Finally both teens were standing in front of the door.

"Ready?" (Y/n) asked.

Todoroki took a deep breath and then nodded.

(Y/n) took out the card Nezu had given them, scanned it and opened the door.

All of the reformees were in the common area, minus Dabi who was mostly likely in his room and turned to look at the door as it opened.

Shigaraki, seeing who it was, immediately stood up, "Alright. Get out of here. Go to your rooms."

"Whyy~?" Toga whined.

"Go." Shigaraki said again.

The reformers started clearing out, minus Toga who had to be carried away by Magne as she whined.

Shigaraki was about to leave when (Y/n) grabbed at his sleeve.

(Y/n) extended the ds to Shigaraki and the charger, "Here. Shinso says you'd make better use of it."

Shigaraki's eyes shined and he gently grabbed the handheld console, "Tell him... thanks." he leaned over to whisper to (Y/n), "I'll leave the door open if you want to come in."

(Y/n) nodded, "Roger. I'll give Shin your thanks."

Shigaraki nodded and knocked on Dabi's door before walking into his room.

After a few seconds Dabi opened his and seeing no one he peeked outside and that's when he saw (Y/n) standing in front of the door next to... Shoto.

Both Dabi and Todoroki froze in place, unsure of what they should do.

(Y/n) also stood still unsure of what they should be doing until a few seconds after when they snapped out of it and slightly pushed Todoroki forward.

"C'mon Todo-kun~ Say hi!" (Y/n) gently nudged.

Todoroki looked at (Y/n) for a second before turning to Dabi.

"Hi..." Todoroki said.

"Uh... hi." Dabi responded.

The two fell into silence for a few more seconds.

"...Can I... hug you?" Todoroki asked.

Dabi stilled, "Wha- I-..."

"You can say no." Todoroki assured.

Silence again.

"....Yeah.... I guess you can?" Dabi said quietly.

Todoroki silently walked up to Dabi, stood in front of him for a second and then hugged him.

Dabi stood frozen just looking down at Todoroki.

"I'm sorry..." Todoroki said quietly.

Dabi's eyes immediately welled up with tears and he took in a deep breath before carefully wrapping his arms around his youngest brother, "Y'know... Last time I held you, your whole body fit in my arms." he chuckled softly.
