Chapter 29: ...But I outsmarted your outsmarting! EVIL LAUGH

With that the class made preparations for the villain attack throughout the day while trying to look inconspicuous. They had even recruited class 1B (they weren't told the entire situation, just that villains would attack) to help and caught King Vlad up to speed (he was told everything, obviously).

Now it was time... 8:02 pm to be exact. 1B was already in the Test of Courage forest trail spread all throughout waiting with their guards up for the villains to make their move.

(Y/n) slipped on the mask and stretched a bit when Deku walked up next to them.

"This is it... isn't it." Deku said with a soft smile.

"Yup. Remember: Leave Shigaraki, focus on the class. They can hold their own, but we know and can fight more than they can. They're counting on you." (Y/n) said, placing a hand on Deku's shoulder.

Deku gave a determined smile, "Right. Good luck, (Y/n)-chin. I believe in you."

(Y/n) nodded a determined smile barely visible under their mask and held up a thumbs up.

Deku was called over to enter the Test of Courage with a partner, he waved at (Y/n) one last time before running off.

"Alright Nomicon..." (Y/n) said out loud and smirked, "Let's catch ourselves a stray cat."

The Nomicon made a neon trail with an arrow and signs showing (Y/n) the way to go. They took off running following the arrow after quickly smacking an invisibility symbol against their chest.

Shigaraki was having one last conversation with his newly rebuilt LOV.

"Remember we're here to capture the kid with the mask and the explosion kid. Don't go off on a side mission, focus on the main quest." Shigaraki said.

"Seriously... you need to stop talking in video game references. Don't be such a geek, you're already a shut-in." Dabi said teasingly with his hands in his pockets.

Toga giggled, "I get to see Izuku again~ Does my hair look nice?"

"Looks great! Looks ugly." Twice said with a thumbs up and a thumbs down.

Shigaraki growled, "Just go. Kurogiri!"

With no further instruction needed Kurogiri opened distinct portals for the villains to spread out around the terrain.

"You go also, now." Shigaraki ordered.

"Tomura Shigaraki... I don't believe it's wise for you to confront this child by yourself." Kurogiri said.

"They made it personal. Speaking nonsense and then insulting my master.." Shigaraki said scratching his neck, "I'll catch them personally and deliver them to my master on a silver platter."

"I was created to protect you, Tomura Shigaraki." Kurogiri said.

"And also to obey my orders, so leave already!" Shigaraki yelled.

Kurogiri was forced to relent and after a bow, he left through one of his portals to assist another LOV member.

Not a second after the portal disappeared, did a Ninja ring fly by Shigaraki and land a few feet away from him.

Shigaraki looked at the Ninja Ring for a second before chuckling and looking in the direction it originated from.

"You found me already? I figured you would. How about you show yourself so we can properly talk?" Shigaraki said.

The Ninja landed in front of Shigaraki though there was a good amount of distance between them.

"No red smoke this time?" Shigaraki commented and laughed softly.
