[Hazbin reference :DD In the fandom since the pilot came out, so I PUMPED when it finally aired in January. I didn't think anyone would replace Alastor as my fav but alas... Lucifer is my favorite. He's a so stupid, I love him <3]

[Happy Rainbow Month btw :3]

First thing (Y/n) did was go to a corner of the room while the reformees picked out their rooms and dial Nezu.

"Yes, (Y/n)." Nezu replied after the first ring.

"Guess who's older brother just arrived on campus and wants to visit~?" (Y/n) said in a sing-a-song voice.

"How peculiar..." Nezu chuckled, "I have been receiving emails from both a Fuyumi Todoroki and a Natsuo Todoroki... Also one from a psychiatric facility on behalf of a Rei Todoroki."

"Rei?" (Y/n) questioned.

"That would be Shoto Todoroki's mother, I believe." Nezu explained.

"Oh." (Y/n) said.

"Well... what do you believe should be the next step?" Nezu asked.

(Y/n) was silent thinking, "I mean there's good and bad right?"

"Correct... I believe it would be risky to initiate contact. It could trigger Dabi or Touya.... Does he prefer Dabi or Touya?" Nezu asked.

"I think it's Dabi." (Y/n) said.

"...Regardless, it could prove to be counterproductive and if anything happens and the media gets a hold of a student being injured by the already controversial VRP... I have no doubt that the HPSC would jump at the opportunity to shut it down." Nezu concluded.

(Y/n) was quiet... thinking, "It could be good... It could help not just Dabi but also Shoto. Dabi could use a support system, Shoto is a hero student so he knows how to react, they could help each other heal... maybe it could also show Dabi as more human if he connected with Shoto and Shoto spoke of him in a positive light all on his own. How's that for a wholesome media story!"

It left a bit of a bad taste in (Y/n)'s mouth to treat Dabi and Shoto's potential relationship like a marketing stunt of sorts and not like helping two siblings reconnect... but the end justified the means in this case.

No one was getting hurt, Shoto reconnected with his brother, Dabi got his sibling back and the public supported the VRP and helped the current reformees and future misguided people.

They had to tell themselves that treating Shoto and Dabi like chess pieces in an elaborate game was justifiable. No one loses, everyone gets what they want... but marketing the sibling bond of Shoto and Dabi and eventually Fuyumi and Natsuo felt... like they were doing something wrong... but it wasn't really wrong was it?

"You're right. The program could use the positive press... and I'm sure Shoto Todoroki could use a brother who understands what he went through." Nezu said.

That's right... even if the good press would come as a result of a positive bond it wasn't really why Nezu and (Y/n) were making this happen.

This was a case of cause and effect. The relationship wouldn't be manufactured, it would be real... it still felt a bit off though.

"I promise I'll shut it down if it goes south. I'll give Dabi a heads up... and talk to Shoto a bit." (Y/n) assured.

"Good luck, (Y/n). Let me know how it goes." Nezu said and hung up.

"This way I can see your face every morning." Dabi smirked, "Who needs coffee when your ugly mug can scare me awake like no amount of caffeine~" he teased.
