"Alright. Tell me what the way you're meant to go is." Hawks said as he and (Y/n) sat in his office.

Hawks had cut off the microphone in his room and sent a report to the Commission notifying them claiming it just stopped working, the Commission didn't even expect Hawks to try and rebel so they just shrugged it off and said they'd send a tech to fix it tomorrow... like they'll still have the funding to do so by then.

"Left, up two floors, three hallways down, 5 doors down and then it's the door behind the bookcase in the archive room. Pull the book titled "The Hidden Room" by Kakushi Tsūro." (Y/n) recited like a mantra.

Hawks smiled brightly and held up his hand for a high five which (Y/n) complied with.

"Way to go, Chickadee. Now there's just one problem..." Hawks said.

(Y/n) tilted their head.

"I'll be in a report meeting with the Commission, so I'll be accounted for but you..." Hawks explained dragging out the 'you'.

"Oh. Right." (Y/n) said, starting to think about how to cover their bases.

Hawks sighed dramatically, "It sucks that you're the only one that can use that shapeshifting ability of yours."

(Y/n) froze, their mind now racing at the new possibilities.

The obvious choice was Shinso. He'd already done this once... but from what he'd told (Y/n) he seems to be really enjoying his work-study from them talking (plus texts) and learning a lot as he tried to catch up with the rest of the class. (Y/n) didn't want to take that away from him.

They couldn't ask Bakugo because he'd want details and (Y/n) couldn't afford the time wasting the 30 minute window they had by explaining things in a way Bakugo would find satisfactory.

Deku was also out of the question as he was preparing for the raid to rescue the little girl from the weirdo with the toucan mask.

Why did this have to be so difficult? Couldn't there just be someone who'd do whatever they said no questions asked?

"No... questions asked?" (Y/n) thought their eyes widening a bit.

Hawks and (Y/n) were standing in a two-way alleyway on a "coffee run" for the Agency. They had already bought the coffee and were waiting for a certain someone.

"Why are we in an alleyway with coffee? Are we hoping to get mugged or something?" Hawks said, yawning.

"We're waiting on-"

"I got your message, (Y/n). I came as soon as I could." Todoroki said as he entered the alley through the other side.

Todoroki was wearing his hero suit, he was smoking a bit and sweating. Probably coming back from his retake portions to get his Provisional License.

"Todo-kun! Thanks for coming in such short notice. You're such a big help!" (Y/n) cheered as they ran forward to side hug Todoroki who happily placed his hands over 's (Y/n) arms.

"Eh? Aren't you Endeavour's youngest?" Hawks said confused, "I figured Number 1 wouldn't have let you just come..."

Just then Todoroki's phone went off and Todoroki picked up the call.

"SHOOOOOOTOOO-" Todoroki hung up the phone and turned it off.

"Ah." (Y/n) and Hawks said.

Hawks shook his head, "Anyway, here's what we're going to do-"
