Randy chuckled as he walked in front of (Y/n) and placed his hands on their shoulders, "Hey, none of that! We're family aren't we? Call me Randy." he smirked.

(Y/n) was in shock, they couldn't form any words as they gawked at their ancestor who they idolized.

"So are the new Ninja. Geez, it's been a while! I was expecting at least two more before you, no offense." Randy said as he placed one of his hands on his hip, "How many generations has it been now?"

"215..." (Y/n) answered still in slight shock by his presence.

Randy clutched the fabric of the Ninja suit where his heart would be, "Am I really that old!?"

(Y/n) chuckled.

"Whatever. It doesn't matter right now." Randy shook his head, "Something is happening." he suddenly looked serious.

(Y/n)'s disposition suddenly turned gloomy, "Hawks really did get Nomi-fied...didn't he?"

"That's that guy's name?" Randy asked before clearing his throat, "Yes, he did."

(Y/n) felt like the worst Ninja to ever be chosen, "I-i'm...sorry. I must be the worst Ninja ever. I'm sorry to disparage your legacy..."

Randy's eyes softened and he pulled his descendant into a hug, "Hey, hey...Have you even read any of my stories? I beefed it all the time!" Randy chuckled, "Being perfect isn't what being the Ninja is about...it's about doing the right thing and rising through all obstacles even if you made them in the first place."

(Y/n) smiled a bit.

Randy pulled away enough to face (Y/n), they could see the outline of Randy's smile under the partial mask, "It's like the Nomicon says..."

"When a Ninja does wrong, they/he must own up to their/his mistakes." They both said at the same time and shared a chuckle.

"Thanks, Ances- I mean- Randy." (Y/n) said smiling.

"Don't mention it." Randy said playfully punching (Y/n)'s left shoulder.

"Anyway... The Nomicon isn't going to help you this time. It's trying to teach that hero a lesson." Randy said, crossing his arms, turning serious again.

"...I don't know if I can do this by myself." (Y/n) said full of doubt, a hand was placed on their shoulder.

"You won't. I'm here and I'll help you as much as I can. We're the dream team, (N/n)!" Randy cheered and raised his hand for a high-five.

(Y/n) took a deep breath in before smiling and high-fiving Randy.

Randy waved his hand to the side and a red glowing portal opened up, "First thing's first. Let's have a chat with Snoopy McSnopper."

(Y/n) nodded at walked through the portal Randy walked in after them.

(Y/n) suddenly found themselves on the top of a mountain and looking to the side there was Hawks tied to a chair.

Randy stood behind (Y/n) arms crossed glaring at Hawks.

"Little Intern! Thank God! Help me out!" Hawks cried out in joy.

(Y/n) took a step forward.

"Don't bother, (N/n). Nothing is going to break those restraints. The only way to free him is to force NomiHawks back into the Nomicon." Randy said nonchalantly.
