×After secret life finally and New Year special ×

-I honestly don't know what to name this chapter - (desert duo)

It started normally, Grian was flying around his base .
After 30 minutes he decided it was time for a short break.

He'accidentally' found himself flying through ScarLand.
Scar saw that and sent the security after him.

.
.
And now?
.
.
Now he was at Scar's office staring at the man at the desk.

"Can you stop? I can't concentrate ."
Scar finally said not looking at Grian.
"Stop what?"
"You know."
And the dead silence filled the room once again.

"You said'no elytras in the park -'"
"Not flying in the park except myself for obvious reasons."Scar interrupted him.
"And how am I supposed to not fly?! That's part of me!"

Scar didn't reply, he started at the notebook that was laying on his desk.

Grian was mad, not because of the situation but because Scar wanted him to do something he couldn't.
He can walk but in the end he'll end up  floating in the air.

"Just go now..."

Grian put his thoughts away and took his attention to Scar.
"Wh--"

"Just go G..."Scar looked at him.
Grian got a little scared, Scar looked awful... his eyes looked awful, like he hadn't slept in a few weeks and was crying all the time.

"Scar! What happened?!"
Grian walked to him, still looking at him.
Scar didn't say anything, he started crying.
Grian hugged him and put his wings around Scar to comfort him.

After a while Scar fell asleep cuddling to Grian.
The avian took Scar to his room and laid him on the bed.

Grian decided to stay with Scar.
He needed to know what happened to his b̶o̶y̶f̶r̶i̶e̶n̶d̶  best friend.
He couldn't see him like this.

G didn't know when he fell asleep but when he'd woke Scar was already up.

"Hello sleepy beaut."

"Sorry... I didn't mean to feel asleep."
G said, he felt really embarrassed.

"I should be sorry for what I'd said earlier. I didn't mean that ,I was really tired and your staring didn't make me feel any better."

Grian did  remember that he was  in fact staring at Scar but he didn't know that was what Scar meant when he asked him to stop.

"I... sorry... I shouldn't have a stare..."
Scar sat next to him and pet Grian's wing.
"I forgot how fluffy these are."

Grian looked at him and Scar looked at him back.
"You..."

"Yes...I remember everything...
And I think your staring actually helped a bit Mr.Magic Eyes."

Grian sat wordless. He forgot that Scar had won  secret life , even if it was some time ago...how long he wasn't sleeping because of...him...
Did he now know about...
The Watchers and his past with them...
Did ...he remembers about them.

Scar giggled.
"What?"Grian looked at him again.
"I think you have beautiful eyes.... I like them."

Grian felt his face turn slightly pink.

"To be honest I don't know what to do about 'us' ... You have hurt me and I have hurt you...."

"Scar , I..." Grian wasn't sure what to say.

They sat in silence.

A firework sound echoes through the castle.

Scar looked through his window.
"Come on."
He took his hand for Grian to take and they walked to the balcony.
"The show is starting...we wake up just in time."he smiled looking at the sky.

The fireworks lights the night sky in thousands of  colours.

Scar glanced at Grian who was amazed by the show.
He smiled and kissed his cheek.
The avian immediately turned to face Scar.

"Scar.."he put his hand on the cheek.

"Just how they say, new year new start.
So.. Happy New Year G."
Scar smiled and fireworks blew a few meters higher above their hands.

They started at each other.
"I love you..."
"I love you too ,my sunshine."

"Why didn't you tell me what day was today?"

"I thought you knew? I mean why would you come to ScarLand if not for the new year's fireworks show."

"I don't know ...to see you?"

Scar giggled.

"I'm glad you came... it really helped me sort out the mess I had after the secret life..."

"I happy too ."
