The violent vibrating of a phone woke me up. I sat up and found out that it was not mine, but Isom’s. Why was his phone in my apartment? I rolled out of bed to go look for the owner. His phone kept vibrating, and vibrating, and annoying the shit out of me. So I decided to answer it first, “Hello?”

“Ally?”

“Sean?”

“Where’s Isom?”

“He’s here?”

“I’m guessing you just woke up.” He chuckled,

“No, you woke me up.” I crankily said,

“Isom stayed overnight.”

“Why?”

“Someone had to keep an eye on you, incase anything happens.”

“Well, I’m fine now.”

“You are? Well, that’s good. You were knocked out pretty bad.”

“That’s what I need this whole time.”

“Do you want to get lunch with the guys?”

“Yea, sure.” I started to head towards the fridge, “Where?”

“I’ll text you the address.”

“Okay.”

“Seriously, where’s Isom?”

“How should I know? I just woke up!”

“Well, go check the-”

“Found him!” I found Isom on the couch,

“I was here this whole time, and you didn’t even notice?” He rolled his eyes,

“I just woke up.” I said, a common excuse.

“Who’s that?”

“Sean.” I tossed his phone, “He’s taking us out.”

“Hey Sean!” I had a feeling that they will be zoned out for a while so I spent the rest of their conversation in the bathroom and watching television. “You feeling any better?” He asked after he finally hung up,

“Yea.”

“I think you had enough sleep yesterday.” He chuckled,

“I think so.” I paused, “You don’t really have to stay, you know?”

“I know, but I didn’t have the heart to leave you like that.” He hesitated, “You were barely breathing, you know?”

“It happens.”

“You couldn’t stop coughing, and I nearly called an ambulance.”

“They left?”

“Yes.”

“It’s a good thing you didn’t.”

“Is there something you never told any of us?” He popped the question and I sat silent for a minute,

“I want you, and you only to know this.” I was being all serious now, “Can I trust you on this?”

“Sure.” He smacked his lips,

“I’m serious. Not everybody knows, only my mom, Andy, Uncle Ben, and Josh. It’s extremely confidential.”

“You’re scarring me.” He tensed. I held the urge to laugh, because it was a serious moment. I was about to tell him my biggest secret,

“Let me be honest with you.” I faced him and I could feel the intensive pressure, “I’m scarred too. I’ve kept this deep down for as long as I could remember.”
