I hummed softly as I was being gently shaken awake. "Morning, beautiful," Dylan whispered gently as I blinked open my eyes to see him peering over me. He was dressed as if he just got home.
"Morning," I murmured, slowly sitting up as he pulled back to reveal a tray of breakfast. For me to have in bed. "Oh, thank you, baby," I smiled stretching before he put it over my lap.
"Happy Valentine's Day," he said.
"You did enough the past couple days," I assured him, giving him a kiss at the corner of his mouth. I needed to brush my teeth. I guess after breakfast.
"Never too much for you," he replied. "Eat up. I went for a run this morning with the dogs. So I'm going to shower—"
"Without me?"
"Yes," he said. "Because you're not going to shower this morning. You are going to join Gigi, Ariana, and Blake at the spa."
My brows raised, "I am?"
"Mhm," he hummed.
I nodded slowly, "What else do you have planned today? Or is it all a surprise?"
"All a surprise," he winked. Then he kissed my forehead. I began to eat my food—my favorites: one thick slices of stuffed French toast, two poached eggs on avocado toast, a large glass of iced coffee, four strips of bacon seasoned potatoes, and a tiny bowl of sliced strawberries. Wow. Dylan could cook but I knew this was from a breakfast place in walking distance. He was an excellent multi-tasker. A run for exercise for not only him but the dogs and he picked up breakfast for me.
