So, I wanna share every special part of this project— the good, the bad, the sexy, and the ugly. Let's start here... How the album came about: • I spent the last two years wishing and dreaming to put out an album. But time kept slipping away and there were lots of handsome distractions. When you're young you search for love, to find that special person. And sometimes you gotta kiss a few frogs. You get your heart broken. Or you lead with you head and ruin a good thing. The last two years I did all three. So what did I do? I ran away. Yup. For months I went off the grid with my closest friends. We started out in Australia until I came back to LA secretly for work and privately met with people to put this album together. Writing was therapeutic in my time away. I was alone going through my emotions: rage, betrayal, heartbreak, embarrassment, loneliness, and hopelessness. I reflected on the year that led me to Australia and deleting social media. And I wrote about it. All the pain faded away as I poured my heart and my truth into lyrics. Now these songs are not the first inspired by a guy, and they won't be the last. This album is me closing the chapter, I've had my closure •
