"So everything is good between you and Dylan?" Chloe asked me as she helped me with the laces in the back of the corset top half of the first wedding dress our group picked out.

"Yeah," I shrugged. "I guess."

"You guess?"

I sighed, "We haven't talked... not since... the whole Colson spending the night thing. So for 9 days. But he asked for time to cool down."

"Not a word... between you?"

"No," I said. "Chloe, please."

"Liv," she scoffed. "12 days?"

I rolled my eyes, pushing past her to step out to where the other girls were waiting. Including my mom, Blake, Gigi, and then my bridesmaids: Bella, Destiny, Bonnie, Ariana, and Chloe.

"Oh, my gosh," Gigi gasped. "I love that."

I smiled, stepping onto the small pedestal in front of an array of mirrors. "The lace is beautiful," my mother commented.

"I like the sleeves," Ari added.

"What do you think, babes?" Bella asked. "It looks good. Shows off your figure."

I gulped, staring at myself in the mermaid style dress. The bottom was all lace while the corset began above my belly button in white satin. There was a small train and off the shoulder satin sleeves. It was cute... "I don't love it," I said, staring at myself. It was surreal to be picking out wedding dresses after wanting this moment for so long. I had never given much thought to the type of dress I wanted. So many were beautiful. But I guess it's a feeling I needed to find. What felt like the right one.

"Okay, well there's plenty more," Blake said.

"I like the look of the satin though," I admitted. Chloe and Bella both stood then. The latter stating they would help me out of the corset. As we stepped behind the curtain Bella asked me if I was okay. "I'm fine."

"You don't look fine," Bella said. "This is a happy occasion."

"Did you know she hasn't talked to Dylan in 9 days?" Chloe whispered.

"What?" Bella frowned. "You said everything was okay. Isn't he coming home soon?"

"In two days," I smiled. "And then everything will be alright. We're not breaking up. We both still want to get married. If he didn't, he would've said something."

"Olivia, you guys used to talk every day. 9 days is a lot of time. That's over a week. You guys never go even a day without!"

"He asked for time," I shrugged, holding the front of the dress to me as Chloe undid the laces.

Suddenly the curtain pulled back and Bonnie slipped in with another dress, "try this." I frowned at it. It was a glittering ballgown. Like out of a fairytale.
