"Cookies are done!" Taylor announced as she sat down next to me on the couch. "Who you texting?"
"No one," I said. "Just tracking Austin's plane. He was gone all weekend to visit his parents. He comes back today and we're supposed to have dinner tonight."
"Oh, my god. How many dates is that?" She gasped.
I blushed, grinning, "I don't know."
"You've gone out every few days."
"Yeah," I agreed, nodding as I took a cookie off the hot tray. "It's been amazing," I gushed as I grabbed my planner off the coffee table next to place in my lap. "So the awards show was on the 1st, and the next day, it was a Saturday we went out for a nice romantic dinner where we literally talked for hours. We only left cause they closed at like midnight and we got there at 7:30."
"Oh, my god!" Taylor laughed, "Cookies good?"
"Delicious, thank you," I told her. I checked my calendar as I counted the days, "Three days later, Tuesday morning, we went out for coffee. We talked a bit, we kissed for good luck cause he had an audition that day. Then we didn't go out until last Saturday, the 9th, nighttime date. He took me to a poetry club!"
"No way!" She smiled. "So cool."
"And he like totally got up and read one!"
"Stop! That's so cute! I'm sorry it's been awhile since we caught up. I spent all week in Kansas City with Travis. But I'll fill you in next. Please continue."
I grabbed her hand and gave it a squeeze, "I'm about done. We got lunch Monday and Friday right before his flight out. He always texts me good morning and good night since our first date a couple weeks ago."
