Chapter 21 Jealousy

     Soon enough, they soon reach the residence and Ying Tingting asked with surprise as Tang Xilong opened the door “You two live together?”
     Tang Xilong replied “With others”
     When they entered, Xia Qianyu was the first to speak up and excitedly ran towards them “Miss Ying!”
     Ying Tingting smiled happily “Xiaoyu!”
     Lian Jiayi made a sound “Pfft-! Haha Xiaoyu”
     Xia Qianyu scratched his head awkwardly “Why are you suddenly calling me Xiaoyu, you're only two years older though”
     Ying Tingting giggled “You're my younger brother so of course I'll call you that”
     Tang Xilong ignored the duo's reunion and asked Lian Jiayi “Where's your friend?”
     Lian Jiayi replied smartly “I only have one and that's Caiyu”
     Tang Xi'an said “Yu Gege's in his room probably resting or cultivating”

     Tang Xilong sat down as he looked at Lian Jiayi who was sipping tea “Why aren't you cultivating too?”
     Lian Jiayi pouted “Why don't you ask Xi'an and Xie'er why they aren't cultivating?”
     Tang Xilong shrugged “Cause they have me”
     Lian Jiayi folded his arms “This is discrimination”
     Xia Qianyu and Ying Tingting came to sit with them and she told them about what she had been up to these past few days
     Ning Caiyu peeked his head out and saw them sitting beside each other ‘He even brought her here? To meet with the others? Oh Tang Xilong!! Wait a minute, what am I getting so worked up for?’
     Ning Caiyu quickly closed the door before anyone spotted him. He sat back down to cultivate but kept getting distracted by too many thoughts
     Ning Caiyu sighed with frustration as he folded his arms and frowned at the door ‘Damnit!’

     Ying Tingting left and Tang Xilong chased everyone else to go cultivate

*{System: You cannot let this quarrel between you two go on past tonight, host}

     Tang Xilong pursed his lips ‘We are not quarreling’

*{System: Then go talk to him. Ning Caiyu's faces today made me believe he was misunderstanding your actions and seeing you with that crane girl probably made the flames of doubt bigger}

     Tang Xilong's eyes widened then he knocked on someone's door

     Tang Xi'an opened the door and asked “Yes, Xi Gege?”
     Tang Xilong pointed at Ning Caiyu's door then Tang Xi'an nodded “Understood, Xi Gege”
     Then she went to knock on Ning Caiyu's door as Tang Xilong followed behind her
     Ning Caiyu asked from inside “W-who's that?”
     Tang Xi'an replied “Yu Gege, it's me, I wanna ask you something real quick”
     Ning Caiyu then said “Ohh... okay wait a minute, let me unlock the door”

*{System: (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠) he even locked the door from inside! Haha}

     Tang Xilong rolled his eyes then Tang Xi'an bolted off to her room and closed the door gently
     When Ning Caiyu opened the door, he was shocked to see ‘What the- I thought I heard Xi'an's voice?’

*{System: bahaha, he must have thought you were voice phishing}

     Tang Xilong pursed his lips ‘And what does that mean?’
     Ning Caiyu was about to close the door but Tang Xilong quickly placed his hand in between
     Ning Caiyu saw that and wanted to stop but the force he started couldn't just be abruptly halted so he winced as the door slammed against Tang Xilong's hand
     Ning Caiyu quickly opened the door and held Tang Xilong's hand worriedly “I-i am so sorry, I didn't mean to .. I didn't know you were gonna put your hand there..”
     Tang Xilong looked with surprise at Ning Caiyu's worried face cause it seemed like he was about to cry

*{System: It's just a wooden door, you can even break stones with a slap and hello, you're a cultivator so what the heck is he so worried about?}

     Tang Xilong was confused ‘,My thoughts exactly’
     Ning Caiyu looked up with tears in his eyes “D-does it hurt?”
     Tang Xilong was torn between acting weak or saying the truth then he blurted out “I am a cultivator so what the heck are you so worried about?”
