Chapter 15

Aislyn POV (I wanted to try something different)
Avi and I have been dating for about 6 months now and I am so in love with him. He is so sweet and amazing and he is coming to thanksgiving to meet my family and I'm a bit nervous. My family is a bit judgmental and I'm afraid they won't like Avi. Honestly I don't care what they think because I love him...... I sound like every bad judgmental teen.

Breanna POV
Scott and I arrived at the airport with Aislyn and Avi by our sides. We made it to our terminal, after the longest line ever at baggage check, and got on the plane. Aislyn and Avi were upgraded to first class and Scott and I were stuck in the back.

We found our seats and Scott had a middle seat so I traded with him. The guy on the outside had no idea what personal space was and was way too close. I kind of started to panic a bit. I have no idea what was happening because I never panic in situations like this.

Scott POV
I glanced over at Breanna and realized she was starting to panic. I looked passed her and saw that the man to her left was as close as could be to her. I pushed up the arm rest between her and I and wrapped my arm around her shoulder as she scooted closer to me. I wrapped both of my arms around her and could feel her trembling. She placed her head and hand on my chest and we stayed like that for the rest of the plane ride. She fell asleep and sleep wars was back on.

Breanna POV
I woke up as the plane landed and drowsily sat up.

"Omg there is snow on the ground!!" Scott said sounding like a little kid.

"Well we are in Nebraska also welcome to where I was born and raised." I said as we walked down to the runway.

"Now I know it's not Texas and you're not with your family, but this is my home and we welcome you with open arms." I said as we met up with Aislyn and Avi.

We drove to our neighborhood that Aislyn and I both grew up in and went to our houses. As I walked in the door I was immediately hugged by my mom.

"How have you been sweetie" my mom said and I answered back with amazing.

"Hi dad" I said hugging him as well.

"And you must be Scott" my mother said "Breanna told us that your family would be gone for thanksgiving and we are happy you are here"

"Okie dokie, well we are going to go get settled and I will probably show Scott around" I said starting to walk up the stairs.

"Scotty your room will be right here" I said pointing and the corner room. "And my room is strait down this hallway if you need me. So put your suitcases away and let's go sledding!" I said running to my old room.

We grabbed the sleds and ran up to Aislyn's house to go get her and Avi.

Aislyn's POV
When we got to my house I ran in and hugged my parents.

"I've missed you guys so much! Also this is my boyfriend Avi." I said nervous about what there reaction would be.

"Hi Mr. and Mrs. Tyler." Avi said reaching a hand out for them to shake. My dad reached for his hand and hesitantly shook his hand. My mom ran over and hugged him saying how nice it was to finally meet him. I showed Avi to our room and as we glanced out the window we saw Scott and Breanna trudging through the snow.

Breanna POV
We got up to the door and knocked waiting for Aislyn to answer it. As she answered the door holding on to Avis hand I told them to get their butts out here and let's go sledding. They ran inside threw on their coats and shoes and ran outside with us.

We got to the hill and luckily the snow was super slippery and icy. We only had two sleds so me and Scott took one and Avi and Aislyn took the other.

I hopped onto the sled and Scott sat behind me, placing his legs around me. Avi and Aislyn hopped on the other one and we decided to race.

"Ready" I started

"Set" Aislyn said.

"GO" we all screamed.

Within a second Scott pushed the sled down the hill and wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me closer to him. We swerved around the trees and made it to the bottom way before Aislyn and Avi. Our sled slowed down and we stood up. We high-fived and danced around like the crazy people we are.

After we were done with our celebratory dance we built a ramp and sled down it for hours. Avi and Aislyn went back to the house so we kept sledding than decided to build a snow man.

"Do you want to build a snow man" I sang in a high pitched kids voice.

"Come on let's go and play" Scott joined as we ran inside to go get the accessories. We grabbed a carrot for the nose, some grapes for the eyes and smile, a scarf, and mittens.

We built the snowman and I had a secret pile of snowballs hidden so that I could ambush Scott. We finished it and stepped back to admire it. I ran over to my pile and started to throw them at Scott.

I hit him every time until her ran over picked me up and spun me around. He ran up the stairs with me on his shoulders.

"Scott put me down!" I screamed, while laughing, as we ran up the stairs.

He ran to the sliding glass door walked inside and placed me safely on the ground. I turned around and saw all of my cousins.

"Hey guys" I said as I ran over to them.

"Breanna!!" My cousins yelled as they engulfed me in a hug. They are all very little and I love children, most of the time.

I took all of the children outside so the adults could mingle and be left alone.

Scott POV
Breanna led her "army of children" outside so that the parents could be left alone. I stood at the door and watched how well she was with all of the kids. As I was watching her the door behind me opened and a girl my age with really curly hair stepped out of the house.

"Hi I'm Avery" she said stretching her hand out for me to shake. I shook her hand as she leaned on the banister next to me.

"You really like her don't you?" She asked.

"Honestly more than you could ever know." I said truthfully.

"Well I can tell that she likes you back, like a lot. Just promise me that you won't hurt her." She said truly worried about Breanna.

"I would never ever hurt her." I said glancing down at her.

Aislyn POV
After awhile of sledding Avi and I went back to my house. As we walked in my parents wanted to make conversation. I was really worried that they would pester Avi, but we agreed anyways.

My parents were being really rude to me and Avi so I told them that I was going to go get some fresh air.

I was on my way to Breanna and I's hidden garden area when I ran into someone I hoped I'd never see again. Caden.

I tried my best for him not to notice me but as I walked passed he ran strait to me. I felt a sharp pain and then everything went black.
