Chapter 28

"Breanna, I've been meaning to tell you something for the longest time..." Avi said as I sat up.

"You can tell me anything avi." I said grabbing his hand.

He grabbed my waist and pulled me on to his lap so I was straddling him.

His deep green eyes stared into my sky blue ones. He leaned closer to me and......I got a bit uncomfortable. I mean Avi is cute and all but I'm still not over Scott and don't know when I will be.

"Avi." I said leaning back and putting my hand over his mouth.

"What's wrong?" He said removing my hand from his mouth.

"You know this isn't what you want. You know I'm not the one. You know that this isn't right. We are both just two heartbroken adults acting like teenagers. I can't do this....." I said standing up and pacing the floor.

"Your right..... Our hearts just over took our brains this isn't right." Avi said sitting down on my bed.

"Who needs a self esteem anyways...?" I said sarcastically.

"No I didn't mean it that way. You're like super hot...." He started to ramble.

"No I was joking Avi..." I said laughing.

"Ok well I guess Aislyn and Bre can come out of the closet now." I said glancing as the closet door.

"What does that have to with anything...?" Avi questioned as Aislyn and Bre tumbled out of the closet. "Oh you meant literally."

"Hey we are not gay." Bre said.

"Bre gay is okay." I said helping them up.

"WHAT ABOUT GAY?" I heard a yell come from the hallway.

"MITCHYYY!" Aislyn yelled sprinting toward the door.

"They've been getting comfortable lately...." I said nudging Avi.

"Look at that you two can go from a flirtationship to a friendship in seconds what the fuck...." She said confused and walked out the door as we laughed.

"Well shall we follow beanie my dear friend." He said placing his arm out.

"You know me too well Avriel." I said hooking arms with him and following Bre out the door.

We walked out and I saw Aislyn in Mitch's arms and the rest of the band all filing in.

"Well this is a lovely surprise." I said sitting on the couch as everyone hugged and greeted each other. Mitch sat on the chair with Aislyn on his lap, Avi and Kevin sat on a couch with Bre trailing behind them and Scott surprisingly sat next to me.

It was just the band and friends, no Maria, no drama, no awkward pauses, just actual friends who kept conversation and enjoyed each other's company.

After awhile we decided to watch a movie and of course everyone chose to watch a scary movie. I grabbed everyone blankets and pillows and got snacks and drinks from the kitchen making sure everyone was comfortable and happy.
