Chapter 16

Avi POV
Aislyn's parents were endlessly questioning me and her. Aislyn said she was going to go get some fresh air. I kissed her before she grabbed her shoes and walked out the door.

"So do you love her?" Her father asked after Aislyn shut the door.

"With all of my heart sir." I said smiling.

"Then go with her." Her mother said.

"Thank you for your hospitality." I said running out the door.

I looked down the street and didn't see her anywhere. I ran down and took a turn I saw a man dragging her small, frail body into a truck. I sprinted down to her but was too late as the man drove away. I screamed and sprinted to Breanna's house.

Breanna POV
I was pushing my cousin on the swing when I heard screaming coming from down the street.

"BREANNA! HELP PLEASE!" I heard Avi screaming. I sprinted over to Avi and grabbed him by the shoulders.

"Avi what is happening?!?" I asked truly worried.

"Aislyn! She was unconscious and being pulled into a car!" He said out of breath.

"Oh shit! What did the man look like?!?" I said holding Avi's shoulders to calm him down.

"He was...... Tall, had nice hair I guess, and dragged her into an old, blue, beat up truck." He said. That's when it clicked.

"Caden." I said to myself. "AVERY TAKE THE KIDS INSIDE AND DISTRACT THEM, Avi come to the car we have to go now." I said sprinting to the car.

"Where are we going?!?" Avi asked.

"Caden always goes to this creepy abandoned warehouse and that's exactly where he is heading." I said driving down the highway. We got to the woods right outside the city and I pulled the car over.

"Stay with me, please don't wonder off." I said turning off the car and hopping out.

Aislyn POV
I woke up in a dark little shack and I knew exactly where I was. Caden and I would hang out and he showed me this place once. I tried to stand up but was tied to the chair.

"You think you could just leave and forget about what we had?" Caden said walking slowly and menacingly around me.

"We didn't have anything Caden." I said.

"We had an amazing relationship till you left and ruined it." He said putting his face close to mine.

"We had nothing and it was all in your head. I never have and never will like you!" I said spitting in his face.

"You should have never done that." He said pulling my hair and crashing his lips onto mine. I tried to turn my face away as heard a sound.

Breanna POV
We walked through the forest until the house was in sight.

"Avi stay over on the side of the house. Also call the cops but make sure you're quiet." I whispered as he nodded and walked over to the side.

I slipped off my shoes to quiet the footfall and crept over to the door. I pulled out a bobby pin from my hair and placed it in the lock. I picked the lock open and slowly started to creep back toward the window. I quietly looked into the window and saw Caden forcefully kissing Aislyn. Then I heard a stick break and whipped my head towards Avi. He looked at me, pale white and I glanced back inside to see if anyone noticed.

Aislyn POV
I heard a noise outside and broke away from Caden's grip. I looked toward the window and saw Breanna. We made eye contact and she gave me a reassuring nod as she disappeared.

I looked back at Caden and he was outraged. His hand whipped across my face as I felt my face heat up.

"Don't try to deny how you feel about me!" He said fuming.

Breanna POV
I slowly cracked the door open and forward rolled into the room closing the door behind me.

"I knew playing spy's as a kid would pay off" I thought as I stayed up against the wall. Luckily I'm nimble enough that no one noticed except for Aislyn. And Caden is practically deaf honestly.

Aislyn POV
I saw the door slowly open then close quickly making little to no noise. Luckily Caden was to busy sucking my face off to notice anything. I couldn't see Breanna anywhere because it was way too dark in the house.

Breanna POV
I slowly crept across the floor until I was crouching right behind Caden. I swiped my leg around and knocked him on to the ground. He quickly got back up on his feet and punched me across the face. I quickly rebounded and he tried to punch me again. I grabbed his hand and twisted it behind his back and pushed him to the ground as police officers stormed inside.

"Ma'am we got it from here." One of the police officers said as they put hand cuffs on Caden. I untied Aislyn and hugged her. As I let go Avi ran in and and attacked Aislyn with a hug as they cried in each other's arms.

We made it back to the car and I drove them home. I walked inside feeling the bruises forming on my face and stomach. As I walked in the door Scott ran over to me and crushed me in a hug.

Scott POV
Everyone rushed inside and I looked for Breanna.

"Avery where is Breanna?!?" I asked worried that she would get hurt again.

"She ran off to go find Aislyn I think..... Avi came and got her and then they ran to the car." She said making sure the kids were distracted.

I paced across the floor until I heard the door open a few hours later. I whipped my head towards the door and saw Breanna come in. I sprinted toward her and crushed her in a hug.

"Breanna, oh my god I was so scared. Where did you go?!?" I asked looking at her bruised and scraped face "and what the hell happened?!?"

"Well Caden, Aislyn's old stalker pretty much, kidnapped her and I went to go save her." She said as we got ice packs and bandaids.

"Here let me take care of your cut" I said.

"Nah bro, chicks dig scars." She said in a really low frat boy voice smiling.

"Even though you are hurt you never lose your sense of humor and you're always happy. I don't know how you do it." I said placing a bandaid on her forehead.

"Magic" she said using jazz hands as she laughed.

Breanna POV
After Scott and I caught up about what happened we went outside and made another snowman. I caught Scott staring at me more than once but I just brushed it off.

Aislyn POV
As we walked into my house my parents asked 100 questions. I explained to them what happened and Avi and I made our way upstairs.

"I'm so glad you're okay" Avi said grabbing my hands.

"I'm so glad I have you" I said as we kissed and fell on the bed. We snuggled up and I fell asleep in Avi's arms.

Scott POV
We were creating another snowman and I kept getting distracted by Breanna's happiness and at how beautiful she was. Once we finished we laid on the deck and stared at the stars.

Breanna POV
"I'm cold can we go inside?" I asked as I shivered.

"Of course we can" Scott said opening the door for me.

"Be right back" I said. I changed into my onesie and ran back down the stairs.

"Let's make cupcakes!" I said pulling Scott into the kitchen. "Okay we are going to have a decorating contest."

"Damn, you will probably be amazing and I will be so bad." He said laughing.

"Probably." I said laughing. "I'm just kidding. We will both suck honestly." I said laughing.

We decorated until 1 in the morning and finally decided to go to sleep.

"Goodnight loser" I said to Scott as he went into his room.

"Goodnight butthead" he said, smiling.
