Chapter 47.

The doorbell rang and it made Yibo look at the clock. He wondered who would it be at this time.

It was the holiday season and he had a day off today, he was going to spend that time doing some work because there was nothing else to do anyway.

He slowly walked to the front door, and as soon as he opened the door, Luhan ran inside and attacked Yibo with a tight hug. Yibo stumbled back a little as he was attacked by Luhan. Yibo then smiled brightly before he picked him up and kissed him on the cheek. "What are you doing here?"

"I am here to meet you! Dad is here too!"

"Your dad is here too?" Yibo asked and then he saw Zhan standing near the door. He had a gentle smile on his face and he didn't take any initiative to talk and that was why Yibo didn't even notice that Zhan was standing there.

Yibo spoke, "Come in Luhan, ask your dad to come in too."

"Come in Dad!" Luhan spoke and Zhan walked in the house.

Yibo made Luhan sit on a chair and Zhan took a seat as well, Luhan then said, "Uncle we are going to the beach."

"You are going to the beach?"

"Come with us too!" Luhan spoke excitedly, and Zhan finally spoke, "We were planning to go to the beach and if you are free then we would like you to come with us as well."

Luhan smiled and nodded, "Yes! Come!"

Yibo smiled at Luhan as he ruffled his hair, Luhan sat there for a while before something else caught his eye, he ran to his room and yelled, "My room!"

Yibo then looked at Zhan, who said, "I am not going to push you, but Luhan would be happy if you came."

"I know, he has been asking to go to the beach for a long time and he seemed to be very excited."

"Yeah."

"But I don't want to cause any inconvenience to you... so..."

"You are not going to cause me any inconvenience; I want you to come with us as well," Zhan spoke calmly.

Yibo nodded. "I see. I will see to it; if I am free and don't have any pending work, then I will go with you."

Zhan smiled and said, "That's good." He said before he rubbed his palms a little and Yibo got up, "I will bring something for you to drink; what would you like, tea or coffee?"

"Just ice-cold water," Zhan said.

Yibo raised an eyebrow, "ice-cold water in such cold weather?"

"Yeah," Zhan said and Yibo just went to the kitchen to get what Zhan had asked for.

He came back to the living room and gave Zhan his cold water before he placed some snacks on the table while Luhan just played with his toys, he was still full of energy.

Yibo smiled as he saw him, while Zhan just drank his cold water and said, "It's cold." He said this as he shivered a little.

Yibo smiled faintly and said, "What else did you expect?"

Zhan sighed as he kept the glass back on table and then coughed, "Thanks."

They sat in silence for some time before Zhan's phone rang and he went to answer it, while Yibo played with Luhan for a while.

Once Zhan came back, he said, "I am going to leave Luhan with you for the day, I have to leave for now since I have some work, is that okay with you?"

Yibo smiled, "Yup, that's perfectly okay. When will your work be over?"
