Chapter 58.

Zhan disappeared for at least one month once again but he still kept in touch and this time he did not hide anything from Yibo, he told Yibo everything that was happening.

This time Yibo did not let him off the hook and asked Zhan to tell him everything otherwise he would cut Zhan off and not talk to him anymore, and hence Zhan had to share everything with him, also because Zhan wanted to ease Yibo's worries.

Apparently, Zhan's grandfather really sued his aunt and Zach for attempt to murder and that caused a great chaos in the family as well as the business.

Zhan's aunt and Zach were arrested and their shares were ceased, Zhan's uncle had a huge fight with Zhan's parents and the fight got so bad that his father and uncle got into physical altercation which resulted in cops being called and his mother getting hurt, it was a total shit show.

"Uncle!" Luhan came running to Yibo, who gladly picked him up and hugged him before walked back to a car, these days Zhan had made sure to assign security guards to Yibo, who would follow him wherever he went and Yibo didn't argue with that because he knew that he had to stay safe to keep Luhan safe and also Luhan's safety came first.

Two days later was going to be Luhan's birthday and Yibo was thinking to take Luhan shopping on that day and do something special and now that he thinks this was going to be Luhan's first birthday with his father, Zhan... and Yibo didn't want Zhan to miss it not after missing the first Christmas and New year with Luhan.

Once Yibo reached home and started walking towards his house, he heard Luhan yell, "Dad!" Yibo looked up and saw Luhan running towards Zhan who picked him up in his arms and hugged him tightly.

"There you are buddy, how was school?"

"Amazing!"

"Amazing?"

"Yes..." Luhan then started to blabber and Zhan smiled as he listened to him meanwhile Yibo came near them, and Zhan looked at him.

Once Luhan went inside his room Zhan looked at Yibo and said, "how are you?"

"I am fine, what about you?"

"Good." Zhan said as he came closer to Yibo, who kept a hand over his chest and said, "Zhan..."

Zhan just smiled as he wrapped his arms around Yibo and said, "so are you ready?"

Yibo became flustered as he asked, "for what?"

"For running away with me."

"Huh?" Yibo asked with a confused expression.

Zhan came closer to him and whispered in his ear as he said, "let's go for a vacation what do you say?"

"Vacation?"

"It's my son's birthday two days later, it's about time I fulfill his wish of going to a beach, what do you say?"

Yibo smiled, "about damn time."

"Dad!" Luhan suddenly came out of the room and Yibo moved back from Zhan while Luhan rushed to Zhan and said, "look what I drew in school..."

"Oh my, show me darling."

"We are going to be sea! We are going to see the sea! Hurray!" Luhan sang as he sat in the car and stared outside the window.

Yibo smiled at him, before he felt someone gently holding his hand, he looked to his side and smiled at Zhan who was driving while gently holding Yibo's hand.

Once they reached their resort, and kept the things in their rooms, they decided to go for a walk, since Luhan was dying to see the sea from up close.

"Luhan, don't run!" Zhan said as he grabbed Luhan's hand to prevent him from going too near the sea, Yibo grabbed his phone and started to click the pictures of the two.

Zhan held Luhan's hand as he pointed at the sea and then said, "do you like your birthday gift?"

"Yes, papa thank you so much!"

Zhan smiled as he played with Luhan to his heart's content.

Luhan even jumped and squealed as he stepped into the cold water while Zhan and Yibo enjoyed his reaction.

After playing for hours, Luhan finally got tired and soon fell asleep in Zhan's arms.

"Look at him, he is sound asleep." Yibo said as he clicked another picture of him, "he was really happy today."

"And you?" Zhan asked with a smile.

Yibo smiled back, "I was happy too, it was truly a beautiful day today... you know... it's my first time on a beach as well and it's beautiful."

Zhan gently held his hand and said, "mine too, I have never been to the beach before."

The two walked on the sea shore as they witnessed the beautiful sunset before finally sitting down on the ground.

Yibo finally asked, "so how are the things on your side?"

Zhan sighed and said, "with how the things are going... I can say they are good...my grandfather's health is not getting any better, my aunt and Zach are out of picture and as for my uncle well he suffered a stroke recently.

As for my parents well my father's condition is not that good, let's just say karma is catching upto him as well my grandfather is dealing with both of them as well."

Zhan took a deep breathe as he said, "Yibo... I will most probably still be the CEO of my company, my grandfather has stayed true to his words and is doing everything to deal with my family, and I know him he will take care of them.

You know it may be too much to ask of you... and it's if you don't agree..."

"What is it?"

"Will you move to another city with me?"
