Beomgyu was angrily walking fast to the entrance gate. He stopped when he heard Ryujin's voice.
RYUJIN: Beomgyu ya! Stop!
BEOMGYU: [stops in his place and doesn't look back. He presses his head using his finger and thumb]
RYUJIN: [stops] Gyu.... Are you okay? [brows furrowed]
BEOMGYU: [turns around] Ugh, I am fine, Ryu. Is just [runs a hand through his face] Your mother is one of the most selfish and materialistic woman I have ever seen! Have you seen the way she behaved?! Cheap?! Is she for real?! Poor?! Using you for money?! Like what the hell?! Is she even in her senses?!
RYUJIN: [doesn't say anything and just looks down.]
BEOMGYU: [feels bad] Ugh, I am so sorry. I... should have not said that. [looks down]
RYUJIN: It's alright... [still looking down]
There was a pause between them. Instead, the wind spoke for them, brushing their hair in the right direction.
RYUJIN: I am so sorry you had to go through that.. my mother... [lets out a deep sigh and avoids eye contact] is like that.. Tsk! I should have not brought you here. I should have just gone with Lee instead! Ugh! I ruined your day [buries her face in her palms]
BEOMGYU: Hey! You didn't! [removes her hands from her face] You did nothing wrong Ryu! [locks eyes with her] To be honest I didn't mind your mother's words that much... is just... her behavior reminded me of her parents... [puts hands on his waist and looks down]
RYUJIN: [confused] Her...?
Ryujin's heart began beating fast. She could feel her head heat up. Her? She? Does Beomgyu like another girl? No! Pls! It's not true!
BEOMGYU: [doesn't reply and just keeps looking down] I should get going now. My parents are waiting for me Ryu. And.. take care of yourself.. I am so sorry for what type of family you are staying in... do you.. want a hug? [opens his arms slightly as he looks at her]
Ryujin's eyes widened but she immediately accepted it. She took a deep breath. In his warm embrace, she felt safe. She felt loved. She felt secure. She felt pleasure. She felt she has some value. She felt.. someone actually cares about her.
The most important thing was that she wanted someone to hug her for so long. Her parents never did that to her. If they did, it was dry and emotionless.
It had been a while since Yuna hug her as well. Kai doesn't like doing hugs or getting physical with girls, except for Yuna, as he respects them a lot.
She wanted to stay like this forever.
Beomgyu was special, he truly was.
BEOMGYU: [breaks the hug] Alright, I have to go now. I know I said this and I am saying this again. Take care of yourself and see ya tomorrow!
RYUJIN: [nods her head as she backed off]
BEOMGYU: Also, smile more often. You look beautiful.
RYUJIN: [chuckles] Shut up!
Beomgyu smiled seeing her smile. He loves seeing people smile, especially people whom he love.
Beomgyu walked up to the gate and for the last time, waved a bye to her. She did the same. The boy faded away from her sight.
RYUJIN: [sighs] Oh I wish you felt the same for me...

Beomgyu sat on the stop and was waiting for the next bus. Though he tried to forget what her mother said to him, he felt very hurt.
The old memories began replaying in his mind.
He was feeling grumpy and wanted to change his mind. He checked his watch and realized the next bus will be arriving in 30 minutes.
He decided to pass time by revising what he had learned today but was immediately disturbed from a notification popping up in his phone.
