Chapter 50

After the portal was opened, (y/n) and the demons dropped through it, ending down in the I.M.P office.

The portal was then closed, and everyone stood in the living room, drenched in water and covered with sand.

"Man, being wet with casual clothes sucks, and the sand doesn't help either"
(Y/n) complained, looking down at himself with a frown.

"For god's sake, I should've opened the portal outside in the parking lot, oh well" Blitzo commented, upset with his floor being wet.

He then walked out of the living room.

"Let's go everybody, we've gotta shower and get this shit off of us!" The imp called.

"Nobody wants to shower with you Blitzo!" Loona snapped back.

"Fine fine, suit yourselves, but I'm showering first......" The imp replied with a shrug.

Loona sighed and looked over to the others.

"Um..... I can wait until you're all done....." (Y/n) offered.

"Thanks hun, but me and Mox are heading home for the day" Millie responded, holding her drunken husband up.

"Really? But how are you gonna get home? Are you taking the van?" The boy asked.

"Nah, well just take a taxi or somethin......" Millie answered with a smile.

"Oh....." (Y/n) responded quietly.

"Tell Blitzo we left to go home for us, will ya?" The imp asked.

"Sure, see ya" the boy answered, waving goodbye to the two.

"Till another time youngin" Millie replied, waving her own hand and leading herself and Moxxie out the living room.

The boy watched them leave, and now it was just him and Loona in the living room.

He then looked over at Loona who leaned on the top of the desk, using her phone.

Taking notice of him, she looked up.

"What?" She asked with attitude.

The boy then scratched his head and looked away.

"Listen, thanks for what you did back there....." He answered, his focus now on her.

"For saving you from your own ass? That was just part of my job" the hellhound replied.

"Well, that and for helping me kill the sea monster, I don't think I could've done it without you....." (Y/n) said, glancing at the floor.

Loona stopped scrolling on her phone, and looked at the boy, blushing softly.

"Whatever......" She responds, and focused back on her phone.

A quiet moment then grew between the two, before it was interrupted by a certain imp.

"I'm done with the shower!" Blitzo announced loudly.

Looking at the exit of the living room, (y/n) then turns his head to Loona, who looks at him as well.

"Um..... ladies first? Heh....." He awkwardly asks, to which the hellhound rolls her eyes and gets up from leaning on her desk.

She then walked past the boy, and he watched her leave, as she exited the living room.

Looking at the couch and desk, he told himself, "Well, can't really sit down with all this water and what not, guess I'll just wait till I take a shower"

A quiet moment passed before he realized something else.

'Wait..... What am I supposed to wear?
I don't even have new chlothes, or a towel or bathing supplies' he thought.

He then groaned, thinking of the new problem he was in.

Thinking about it, he asked himself, "What are the chances of Blitzo letting me borrow some clothes and stuff to shower?"

To his fortune, Blitzo lended some chlothes and bathing supplies for (y/n) to use.

He looked at the bathing supplies and found their hell based brands interesting.

The boy was grateful and thanked the imp, and afterwards would take a shower, long enough to clean himself of the sand and to relax as well.

After he was done with the shower, he would be wearing new clothes.

He also made sure to return the bathing supplies to the imp, and took his dirty clothes with him, dropping it somewhere on the floor in the living room for the meantime.

Sitting on the couch, he laid back and relaxed some more.

"Man, even though we're literally in hell, it feels good to be back here" (y/n) comments.

He then froze for a moment, surprised with his own words.

"Can't believe I just said that, heh....." He adds awkwardly.

Loona who sat at the desk, now clean and with different clothes, ignored the boy as she continued to use her phone.

She even had a bottle of beer before her on the desk.

Grabbing her bottle and drinking of the beverage, (y/n) remembered something from the past.

"The grimoire....." He said to himself.

He then got up from the couch and left the living room as Loona watched him go.

Blitzo in his office, sat in his chair, using his phone as well.

He then heard knocking at his door, which was already open.

Looking up, he saw (y/n) at the intrance to his personal office.

"(Y/n)! Come in, come in, what can I do for you?" The imp asked.

The boy then hesitantly approached the imp, avoiding eye contact.

"Hey Blitzo, I came because....." The boy said, finding it about difficult to continue.

He then glanced at the imp, who tilted his head in wonder.

"Well? What is it? Come on, I don't have all fucking day ya know" Blitzo stated, staring at him.

Conjuring enough courage, (y/n) answered the imp, "I came cause I wanted to borrow the grimoire....."

Blitzo then sat back, thinking about what the boy was asking for.

"Hmm...... Well, I did say that i'de let you borrow it after the job we just got finished with today, plus Stolas gave you permission......" Blitzo explained.

"Okay, but not yet......" The imp added.

(Y/n) was confused and asked "Why?"

"Because I need it in case we get any more calls for today, or tonight, but dont worry, I'll let you have it right before the end of the day" Blitzo answered.

(Y/n) then sighed, and turned around slowly.

"Okay....." The boy said, a little disappointed.

"By the way, Millie and her husband left home" he adds.

"Seriously!? Uuuugh, whatever, if those two sexy fucks don't wanna be here any longer, then that's fine, we've gone through enough shit for today anyways......" Blitzo replied.

(Y/n) nodded in agreement and walked towards the entrance of Blitzo's personal office door.

"Don't worry, just wait until tonight, and then you'll have the grimoire," Blitzo stated as the boy exited his personal office.

May take a few chapters here and there to get to the start of the 4th episode of Helluva Boss though
