"H-how did you do that!?" The boy asked in excitement.

He immediately stood up and walked closer to Stolas, staring at his sword.

"You got it back! It..... came back....." The boy stated in awe.

"It's like thor's hammer..... cool....." He added.

"Indeed! It's a magical sword after all, forgot to tell you that when I gave it to you, forgive me" Stolas stated, before handing it down to the boy.

"It's fine it's fine, but..... How did you get it to come back to you?" (Y/n) asked, as he looked down at the sword in his hand.

"Magic, nothing special really, but for you humans it probably is" the owl demon answered.

The boy stared at the sword for a moment before responding, "Can you teach me how to do it?"

Stolas chuckled, and smiled warmly down at (y/n) before answering him, "I was hoping you'de ask that"

(Y/n) grinned, happy to be able to learn something new, and something useful too.

"Alright, it shouldn't be that difficult, so toss the sword to the side will you?" Stolas asked.

(Y/n) would then listen to him, tossing his sword the side.

But when he did, the sword would impale itself into the floor, causing the boy to flinch.

"S-sorry....." He apologized with an awkward grin.

Stolas looked at the damage done in surprise, before blinking a few times.

The prince then shook his head.

"Don't worry, I'll get that fixed later, and any other damage that may be done by the sword......" Stolas replied.

"Anyways, now say 'return' and imagine the sword coming back to you" the owl demon added.

"Wait- it's that easy? But, aren't I supposed to say something in like latin or something and wave my hand?"
(Y/n) questioned in confusion.

Stolas laughed and answered the boy, "Oh my, no, not at all, it's not like in earth's fictional movies and what not, magic understands all languages"

"However, magic's still not easy, not all magic at least....." Stolas added.

"Huh....." The boy quietly replied.

He then looked at the sword in the ground and reached a hand towards it, before saying "Return"

Wiggling out of the ground, the sword flew towards (y/n), who got scared and ducked, causing the sword to pass him and hit the wall at his side, before falling to the floor.

He then looked at the sword and back at the prince.

"You don't have to be afraid you know, the sword won't cut you, it's like it has a mind of it's own, now if you were using telekinesis, then things would be different but in this case, you'll be fine when you call it" Stolas explained.

"Try again, but this time, don't get scared" the owl demon added, encouraging the boy.

(Y/n) then sighed, and like the last time, he stuck his hand out towards the sword, and said "Return"

The sword then floated off the ground and flew towards (y/n).

For only a bit did he fear, but he held himself together and the sword would fix itself into his hand.

(Y/n) now held the sword, and he looked at it in awe, feeling a little proud of himself.

"I- I did it! Haha!" He said.

"Oh how splendid! Hoo Hoo!" Stolas cheered happily, clapping his hands together for the boy.

"So, you now know how to get your sword back, if you ever are to lose it like you did, but before you continue holding on to it, let me just do something real quick......" Stolas added.

The owl demon then held a hand out to the sword, to which (y/n) gave it to him.

Placing a hand on its blade's flat, he slid it across with blue glowing symbols following behind.

He then placed his hand on the boy's shoulder, and lifting it off, it revealed a glowing hand print of the same color.

Both the glowing hand print and symbols then disappeared, blowing away like dust.

"What..... was that?" (Y/n) asked curiously.

"What you just witnessed was a sort of relationship lock, this spell will allow the usage of the sword to be only between you and the weapon, so if someone were to try and call it, it would just ignore them, but it wouldn't ignore you~" Stolas answered with a smirk.

"Ooooh....." The boy replied nodding.

"Well, I believe i'll be going now, I should get some rest, and you should too, sweet dreams (y/n)" Stolas stated, giving the sword back to the boy.

"One more thing-" the boy called.

"Mhm?" Stolas replied.

"You never called the sword, you just held your hand out and it came, how did you do that?" (Y/n) asked.

"Oh that? That was just telepathy, but that's another thing you can learn later on" Stolas answered.

"Oh okay, um, goodnight then" (y/n) replied, and the prince would give him a smile and nod before leaving his room and closing his door behind him.

Happy with what he's learned, the boy walked to his bed and inserted his sword into his scabbard, before grabbing the grimoire and sitting back down on the bed's edge.

Feeling encouraged, he opened the book, but when he saw it's contents, his smile turned into a frown.

"I..... can't read this....." He told himself.

Before him, was a demon language written in the book, one he's never seen before.

Sighing, he closed the book, and placed it at his side.

And feeling let down, he let himself fall back and lay on the bed with his arms spread out.

"What was I thinking? Of course it's not written in english" he said.

A confused expression then appeared on his face.

"Wait- so then why do the demons here speak english?" He asked.

On his bed, he laid quiet for moment.

'Maybe it's like another language they can use or something' he thought.

He then heard some knocking at his door, and lifted his head.

"Is that Stolas? Come in!" He said.

The door then opened and Octavia walked in.

"Hey (y/n)....." She greeted.
