Chapter 55

After some time, the boy and his demon companions have arrived to the apartment building where they work.

Parking into his won over space, Blitzo and the others exit the van.

"I wonder what kind of assholes we'll be killing today, too bad (y/n) won't be coming with us, boy's got skills to learn!" Blitzo commented with a grin.

He and the others would then walk to the building.

"He's gonna stay in the office?" Millie asked.

"Yeah, I gotta practice somewhere, cause I doubt doing it while you're all out on the job would be easy" (y/n) answered.

"Wait, does that mean that Loona is staying with him too?" Moxxie asked curiously.

"Yep!" Blitzo answered and Loona would sigh.

They all then entered the building and made their way up to their room, before entering it.

Upon entering the office, Blitzo would sniff the air.

"Aaaaaaah, smells like work!" Blitzo commented.

"Another day, another dollar huh?"
(Y/n) adds.

Moxxie and Millie would immediately head to the living room and Blitzo would go to his office.

Thinking about where he wanted to go, he'd follow the two imps and Loona would follow behind him.

"Hold on you two!" Blitzo called, catching the attention of the boy and hellhound.

The two would then walk to Blitzo who was at his personal office's door.

"Come, sit" he asked, as he walk to his chair behind his desk and sat himself.

(Y/n) and Loona would do as they were asked, pulling up two chairs to the imp's desk and sitting down.

"Alright, so...... As you know, (y/n), you're gonna be staying here at the office for the next two weeks cus of your practice and shit, and Loona, you'll be here with him, keeping an eye on the guy and taking care of the grimoire as he uses it" Blitzo explained.

"Not just that but (y/n), when we need to, can you let Loona use the grimoire to open portals for us? I'd appreciate if you didn't just leave us out on the over world" the imp added.

"Oh, I mean- yeah" the boy answered.

"Good good, alright, you can go now......" Blitzo stated, and (y/n) and Loona would leave his office to go to the living room.

Walking into the living room, Loona would sit down at the desk and use her phone, while (y/n) would remove and place his backpack on the couch.

Unzipping his bag, he'd take out the grimoire and notes with it and sit down looking at them.

"What are those papers for?" Millie asked, curious about the sheets on top of the grimoire.

"These are some notes about a few spells from the book in english, my friend offered to write them down for me during the night and I accepted her offer....." The boy answered.

"Oooooh, sweet!" Millie replied happily.

He then took a deep breath and opened the notes.

Reading some of it's contents, he nodded before closing them.

The boy then looked at the grimoire and up at Loona.

Pondering for a moment, he asked her, "Hey Loona, if I need some help with the grimoire, would you help me?"

"No" the hellhound answered without looking up at him, her eyes focused on her phone.

(Y/n) sighed, but he then put on a face of determination.

"Okay, two weeks..... I can do this" he told himself.

'Right?' He questioned in his mind.

Two weeks have passed.

And during that time, (y/n) had trained as much as he can with the sword that Stolas gave him, and learned of magic from the Grimoire.

At some point during that time, Loona was convinced to help the boy, even teaching him how to open portals for when the others needed to go and come from the over world.

While two weeks may be a very small amount to train for something, the boy surprisingly learned fast.

He was not the best at what he could do, but what he had learned could prove to be useful in the future.

"(Y/n)! It's been two goddamn weeks, why don't you come in here and show us what you've learned huh?" Blitzo called from the meeting room.

The imp and the other demons sat around the meeting table, as the boy walked into the room looking at everyone.

"W-what do you wanna see? Heh....."
(Y/n) asked with a nervous smile.

"I don't fucking know man, just show us something" Blitzo answered.

"Show us a magic trick!" Millie excitingly asked.

The boy then nodded, and held his hand with his palm up before a green flame appeared on top of it.

Millie and Moxxie both quietly gasped, and Blitzo would stare in awe.

As for Loona, she couldn't be bothered, since she did help him train.

"I can do other stuff too, like create a shield" the boy stated, before he turned the green flame off and created a round red glowing pentagram shield.

"No way! That is so cool!" Millie complimented.

(Y/n) chuckled.

"I know right? The shield also reminds me of Captain America so that's cool too I guess" he replied.

He then made the shield dissapear and looked at the demons who were amazed.

"(Y/n) this is fucking amazing! Kid, you're gonna be one hell of an asset to the team" Blitzo cheered.

(Y/n) softly blushed and looked away scratching his head.

"I'll do what I can, while I'm still here....." He said with a smirk.

Being reminded, Blitzo would respond to him, "Oh that's right, I've gotta let you go back to the over world at some point, too bad I can't keep you forever, we like you (y/n), even Loony does"

Both the boy and the hellhound would then blush at his statement, and try to avoid eye contact with each other.

"Yeah well, all good things must come to an end right? Not that I think me being in hell is good....." (Y/n) says.

Blitzo then nodded with a small frown, agreeing with the boy.

After showing them two of the things he can do, (y/n) would sit on a chair with the others at the round table.

And from there, who knew what would happen.

After learning what he did, the boy's future may just have been changed.
