In the dark hallway of a house, slow steps could be heard.

As two men walked, one recorded with a camera over his shoulder, and one held a sort of audio recording device in his hand.

"Hello? Are there any spirits here with us?" The man with the device said.

As they continued to walk, they entered a living room.

Because the house was abandoned, the furniture was old and covered in dust.

Spiderwebs donned the corners of the room and the paint was falling apart off the walls.

All this was being recorded in night-vision by the cameraman.

"If there is anyone in the room with us, please talk into the spirit box" the man with the device said.

He held it up in the air as static noise could be heard.

The camera man looked around the room and they both waited for a response.

Suddenly, what sounded like a voice could be heard on the spirit box as the camera man immediately recorded it in awe.

"Hello...." A grainy whisper said, heard through the spirit box.

"You heard that?" The man with the device asked, as the camera man nodded.

"Yes? Hello? We heard you, um, do you have a name?" The man asked.

Static was heard on the spirit box.

Then a response came on the device, "James"

Both of the men's eyes widened.

"James? Okay uh..... James, did you die here?" The man asked as static followed.

"Yes" a whisper replied on the device.

"Okay then..... Can you give us a sign?"

Then, a thud was heard somewhere in the distance, causing the two men to look in the direction of the noise.

They then walked out of the living room and into the kitchen, where a cook book was found on the ground.

The man picked it up and analyzed it before him, then showing it to the camera man.

After that he placed it on the counter.

"Was that you did that?" He asked, listening to the static sound of the ghost box.

"No" the ghost box replied.

The man glanced at the camera before speaking again.

"Alright James, if that wasn't you, does that mean we're not alone? Are there others here?" The man asked, hoping for a reply.

A few seconds later and the ghost box whispered back, "Yes"

The two men looked at eachother in awe.

Not long after, the ghost box spoke again, whispering, "Leave"

Both of the men had chills sent down their spines before a door somewhere was heard being slammed shut.

Being spooked, the two men would hurry out of the house and put into the front yard into the dark night.

The cameraman men then showed the front of the house which looked like a usual abandoned building, with broken windows boarded up and pieces of the roof missing.

"Okay wow, that was insane! I- I don't know if I wanna back in there-" the man was saying before the cameraman pointed behind him towards the front door of the house.
