Chapter 30

A ding was heard, which turned (y/n) and Loona's heads over to the elevator.

After the doors split open, Millie was there to be seen, stepping out with a smile.

"Oh, hey Millie....." the boy greeted, softly waving his hand.

"Heya!" Millie waved back happily, before spotting her husband on the ground.

"Moxxie!" She cried, running up to him and kneeling down.

"What happened to him!?" She asked, looking back concernly.

"You don't wanna know....." (Y/n) answered, rubbing his arm.

"Stop whining, he'll be fine" Loona added, as she used her phone.

Millie then looked back down at her husband, who saw her and smiled.

"Millie....." he said, placing a hand on her cheek.

"Don't worry baby, I'm right here" his wife replied.

As Loona breathed, she sniffed the air, and caught a familiar scent.

Following the scent, she closed her eyes and sniffed the air the some more.

Only a moment later and she found her herself in front of (y/n), who looked a bit concerned.

"Um..... Loona? Is there something wrong?" He asked.

Sniffing some more, the hellhound grabbed the boy, surprising him and pulling him closer to her.

Loona then sniffed his shoulder, taking in Verosika's scent.

"Verosika?......" she asked herself.

"Did she touch you?" Loona asked (y/n), taking a step back from him. 

"What?" The boy asked back.

"Verosika! Did she touch you?" The hellhound repeated herself.

"Uh..... yeah..... she did....." (Y/n) answered, avoiding eye contact due to feeling embarrassed.

Loona's jaw then hung.

Glancing around her, a frown grew on her face, and she felt bothered.

She didn't know why she felt bothered either, after all what did she care about what happened to the boy?

What did she care?

.....Did she care?

Blitzo then came out of Verosika's apartment, catching everyone's attention.

"Everybody, to the meeting room!" Blitzo commanded with a finger in the air.

While Blitzo was standing, the other demons sat around the table.

Millie sat next to Moxxie, who was now clean after a quick wash in the bathroom, and Loona sat across them.

As for (y/n), he stood by the end of the table.

And Blitzo was next to a small board with paper sheets, and the first sheet had a picture drawn on it.
